The many nooks and crannies that crop up along the garden paths at Bellamare are ideal for reading, meditating, or sketching. In fact, artists can find all kinds of inspiration in this villa by the sea—take your sketch book and walk the short distance to the beach or work from one of the terraces that overlook the Caribbean. After dinner, uncork a bottle of wine and turn up the stereo. You can watch the sun go down, and then dance the night away under the Caribbean stars.

Bellamare offers a swimming pool, poolside wet bar and gas grill, and a sun deck steps from Mahoe Bay Beach. Floral landscaping surrounds the property, creating privacy and luxury in this Old World-inspired home.
The villa’s wading pool looks out toward Mahoe Bay and the gardens, with the guest house on one side and the Main House on the other. The large, uncovered sundeck is replete with lounge chairs and steps leading into the pool. A large chest holds beach toys for children, and Mahoe Beach lies at the end of a private path. There are fruit trees throughout the garden, and guests can freely pick fresh bananas, limes, or papayas depending on the season.
The Main House at Bellamare is a two-story building that faces the sea. The living room offers seating for reading, game playing, or conversing, and a stereo and TV/VCR. The semi-formal dining room accommodates 10 guests, and the modern kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, large refrigerator, and an island with a gas stove top. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, hardwood floors, air-conditioning, ensuite bath, and a private balcony with seating. The guest bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king, an ensuite bath, air-conditioning, and hardwood floors. Both bedrooms have ocean views and ceiling fans.
The Sea Pod is a separate guest house joined to the Main House via a covered walkway. The building is split into two air-conditioned studio apartments, each with a king-sized or queen-sized bed, ensuite bath with al fresco shower, refrigerator/bar, phone, internet port, and a balcony with ocean views. The Sea Pod is perfect for children, adult family members, and friends. Both floors are identical.
Mahoe Beach is a short stroll away from Bellamare, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. The water is calm and clear all year, and the community has two tennis courts for guests’ enjoyment.
