Point of View is a great villa rental for large groups of travelers who want to be near the beach without sacrificing comfort. There's too many notable features to list, but one of my favorites is the extra-long pool, hot tub, and a cold plunge pool. Chill out in the game room all afternoon, or travel down to one of the four nearby beaches. There's no chance of your guests ever getting bored here-- there's a TV in almost every room, and one of the most gorgeous beaches right outside your back door.
South Sound
Point of View is a fully air-conditioned beachfront villa on South Sound, designed to maximize the surrounding tropical beauty. Families and friends alike will love the spacious design, five-star amenities, and nearby beach.
This South Sound vacation rental boasts one of the longest infinity pools on the island, perfect for swimming laps or fitting large groups. There’s even an in-pool table where guests can sip cocktails and relax. Additionally, guests a hot tub and a cold plunge pool to soak in and a 3’ deep children’s pool to splash around in. Chic outdoor furniture is placed throughout the deck to offer guests the best spots to take in the view. The outdoor kitchen has a sink, fridge, wine cooler, and breakfast bar so guests can prepare snacks and drinks with ease. There’s al fresco dining under the veranda and in the gazebo at the end of the boat dock, and plenty of loungers to sunbathe in. A soft, sandy beach is downstairs from the deck, and a private dock leads to the best entry point past the seagrass. Guests can also play tennis onsite and take the villa’s kayaks out to sea whenever they want.
Inside, modern decor combines with large glass doors to add elegance to the living room, lounge, dining room, and kitchen. The living room has a flatscreen TV and gorgeous ocean views, and connects to the dining room. Cooking in the gourmet kitchen is a breeze on the high-end appliances and expansive countertops. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the professional-grade espresso machine, Nespresso, or Keurig. The dining room is the perfect size for large groups, with two dining tables and a lounge area for everyone to enjoy their meals in. There’s also a flatscreen TV in here, and a wall of sea-facing glass doors. In the game room, stay entertained with video games, foosball, and board games, with a drink in hand from the bar. Each of Point of View’s bedrooms has a TV, sound system, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower. The master suite borders the beach and has ocean views, a deluxe king-sized bed, coffee bar, mini-fridge, and a walk-in closet. Its ensuite bathroom has a soaking tub, walk-in rain shower, and a dual vanity. Three of the guest suites have a king-sized bed, and the fourth has a queen-sized bed. The kids’ room has a twin over queen-sized bed bunk and a triple twin bunk, with a video game console.
Point of View is ideally located near George Town and several beaches. Water sports, restaurants, and groceries are only a few minutes away, and the airport is 4 miles away. The villa sits on South Sound Beach, and is a mile from Prospect Beach. Pageant and Seven Mile Beach are a little further down the coast, still within a short drive.
