Babylon Reef feels like a classic beach house, with every amenity you could ask for. It’s oceanfront, with a great view of the Caribbean framed by palm fronds. A hammock slung between two palm trees is the place to be for an afternoon siesta, and the large rectangular pool is perfectly sized for swimming laps in the morning. There’s sand around the pool, so it’s like you have your own miniature beach, right in your backyard. Take a kayak out to the reef, where you’ll practically have the ocean to yourself. In fact, Babylon Reef sits in front of one of the best shallow snorkeling sites on the island. Kids can play freely in the shallows or in the private lawn at the front of the villa. This villa is perfect for your next family vacation, but is private and romantic enough for a honeymoon or romantic getaway, too.

Babylon Reef is an ultra private, oceanfront villa framed by one of Cayman’s best snorkeling sites and tons of vegetation. A white picket fence, cheery decor, and tropical amenities make this a great villa for any vacation.
A large, rectangular pool sits in the middle of the deck, big enough for swimming laps in the morning. A man-made sandy area creates a miniature beach for guests to enjoy, with cornhole for playtime and a hammock for naptime. There are several kayaks at the villa that can be taken down to the water for a day on the sea, or guests can relax by the pool all day under clusters of palm trees. There’s an outdoor shower to wash off the sand and sea before going inside. Enjoy lunch al fresco at the bright yellow dining table surrounded by deep blue chairs, or have a picnic on the lawn. A contemporary wooden deck leads into a wall of glass sliding doors, which opens to a lounge area.
This lounge area has a ceiling fan and rattan furniture, and sits adjacent to the formal dining room and living room. The living area has a flat screen Apple TV, plush sectional, and ceiling fan. The dining room has seating for six, and has exterior access to the garden. A cheery breakfast nook creates a boundary between the dining room and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen features baby blue backsplash to brighten the space, stainless steel appliances, and ample cookware and dishes. The villa has three bedrooms spread out over two levels. The master bedroom on the ground floor features a king-sized bed and opens to the lounge area, with a view of the ocean and the pool. The ensuite bath is modern, with a shower and pristine finishes. On the upper level, the two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an ocean view, the other has two twin beds and a garden view. The twin beds can be made up as a king-sized bed.
Babylon Reef is extremely private, surrounded by two empty lots and the ocean. A 10 minute drive will take guests to two large resorts, where they can enjoy water sports, beaches, and oceanfront bars and restaurants.

Our group had the best time staying at Babylon reef!! Betsy was a pleasure to work with, and made everything very easy!! The house had everything we needed!! We enjoyed the pool, grilling out, kayaking - I must say some of the best snorkeling I’ve personally ever experienced right off your back yard!! Simply amazing!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Great Vacation at Babylon Reef
Babylon Reef, Cayman villa review
My family and I stayed at Babylon Reef for a week and had a wonderful time. The villa was absolutely perfect and had everything that we needed. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and it was so nice to jump into a clean, fresh bed after traveling. Also, the view and location were amazing. We spent most of our time at the villa enjoying the beach and ocean in the backyard. We did some snorkeling right off the villa and saw many fish, crabs, and even a starfish. The ground is rocky, so water shoes are needed. The pool was also a great feature. We prefer privacy and not a lot of people, so the villa made us feel that we had a piece of paradise all to ourselves.
Everything with WhereToStay was easy, and the experience was very positive. Thanks for a great vacation! We will definitely come back again!

Babylon Reef, Cayman villa review
My husband and I spent a week away at Babylon Reef. This was our first time in Grand Cayman, and we loved the villa! If you are looking for a private, secluded villa, then this villa is for you. The pool was large, the views are unbeatable, and kayaking was fun, too! We plan on returning soon. Thank you, Sharon, for helping with all of the planning details. We had a truly excellent vacation!

As soon as I had arrived at Babylon Reef, I was amazed. This beautiful home is very open and the ocean view is right outside the back doors. It’s so peaceful, and close to Rum Point and Kaibo, which are both amazing. Thanks for the wonderful stay at the Babylon.

Amazing House
Babylon Reef, Cayman villa review
Pictures don’t do this home justice. It was spectacular! The house was well equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, the pool was perfect, and the views out back were amazing. Ola was easy to work with, and the staff at Silver Thatch was accommodating. I would highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. We hope to return.
Sharon was responsive to our needs and questions, and was very helpful.

BEST Villa Experience Ever!
Babylon Reef, Cayman villa review
We normally rent villas in St. Martin, but Hurricane Irma gave us the opportunity to visit Grand Cayman. Babylon Reef far surpassed any villa we have stayed in. Everything was clean, neat, and in excellent condition. The location was superb, with majestic ocean views and constant breeze. The grounds are immaculate, with many interesting plantings. We didn’t go into the ocean since the beach was rocky during our stay, but we did notice others who did. We had ultimate privacy at the pool area! We barely saw anyone else and even then, it was at quite a distance. The kitchen has everything you could ask for and the wine cooler was a plus. There is a full-size steam washer/dryer to take wrinkles out of your clothing. Ola, the owner, was very kind and answered all our questions promptly. There is no safe in this villa, but we never had any concerns and we don’t travel with “bling.”
We really enjoyed the restaurant Tukka and The Lighthouse has great pizza. If we ever return to the Caymans, we would certainly choose Villa Babylon!
Sharon was fantastic and made this last minute trip seamless.
