The pool terrace is in a screened atrium, and there’s a private beach out back. The villa is just a short drive to Rum Point, which is a great place to take kids. It’s easy to get to Stingray City, Macabuca, and the nearby Turtle Farm. You can also scuba dive at the Cayman Wall right off the shoreline. A slightly longer drive will take you to Seven Mile Beach.
Dive the famous Cayman Wall from the shore!
Cayman Sands is a beachfront villa on Old Man Bay on the north coast. This villa is one of the few villas that offers shore-diving to Cayman Wall, just 250 yards from the shore.
The villa’s private beach can be accessed from the sun deck, which has loungers for tanning. There’s a gazebo too, with al fresco dining and an up close and personal ocean view. There are two hammocks, perfect for relaxing, and two kayaks that guests can take out on the sea. The swimming pool is in a screened atrium, which has more dining and lounging space. Inside, the dining room and living area has access to the screened atrium, and make up the Great Room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and an open layout.
All four bedrooms in the main house are on the sides of the common space. A master bedroom sits on either side of the screened atrium, each with exterior access and ensuite bathrooms. One has a king-sized bed and the other has a queen-sized bed. The other two bedrooms are on either side of the Great Room, each with an ensuite bathroom and interior access only. One has two sets of bunk beds, decorated as a children’s room, and the other has two twin beds that can be converted into a king.
The guest cottage is ideal for grandparents or in-laws, with a studio layout that incorporates a kitchenette and bedroom in one space. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a TV, and there’s an ensuite bathroom. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, sink, and several cabinets. A spiral staircase leads to a rooftop deck with ocean and sunset views.
The villa is wheelchair accessible, perfect for two families to share. Between the two al fresco dining tables, a screened pool terrace, massive common areas, and well-sized bedrooms, there’s more than enough space for everyone to share.
