Kai-Yak Cove | 4 BRs

Kai-Yak Cove is a magnificent Caribbean-style property in Cayman Kai’s quiet resort neighborhood. This tranquil villa is located in a secluded cove and is ideal for families or couples.

Wall coverings, furnishings, and plantation shutters all convey a resort-casual, beach cottage atmosphere. There are lots of peaceful spaces at Kai-Yak Cove for reading, resting, or streaming your favorite video. The main level den has a huge SmartTV, a Sonos soundbar, and a comfortable sectional couch. The den is connected to a full bathroom that also functions as a powder room. Plantation shutters and pocket doors give seclusion and shade while watching movies or relaxing. On the upper level, a second media room with SmartTV and Sonos provides walk-out access to a waterfront balcony.

A wall of sliding glass that provides an unobstructed view of the pool, beach, and calm cove waters is the primary feature that draws guests to the great room. Outside, a spacious veranda provides covered lounging/dining while taking in the sea wind and views.

The kitchen is equipped with KitchenAid appliances, including a main refrigerator and freezer, a wine refrigerator, a dishwasher, a wall oven, a microwave, and a warming drawer that can also function as a slow cooker. A drip coffee maker and other appliances are also available.

All four bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. The primary suite is located on the upper level and has a king bed, a free-standing tub and walk-in shower, and walk-out access to a furnished balcony. The canopy and twin bedrooms are also located on the upper level and share a large ensuite with a double vanity and large shower. The fourth suite is locate on the main level and has a queen bed, garden views, and a shower/tub combo. The en-suite opens to the veranda.

The pool has an elevated spa as well as a sun shelf for a ledge lounger. A large deck with loungers surround the pool, and a cabana with an outdoor kitchen complete with a gas grill, ice maker, and beverage fridge make poolside cookouts phenomenal!

There is beach access to the barefoot white sand beach just across the street, as well as closer to Rum Point.

Please Note: Owner would like to disclose that there are feral cats in the area, and guests may or may not see them during their stay. The Cayman Islands are rabies free and most of these cats have been spayed/neutered by the compassionate villa owners who support the efforts of the Humane Society. The owner does not permit cats or pets to enter the house, but merely wants to to guests that they may see an occasional cat during their stay.  Guests who are allergic to cats are advised not to rent this villa and do so at their own risk (a cat may have sat on a piece of outdoor furniture).
