This villa has an amazing private beach that’s perfectly set up for parties and al fresco feasts. The bedrooms are spread out throughout the two levels, which gives everyone plenty of space to relax and retreat. I love the ease of this villa, the beach is in your backyard and two clubs are within walking distance.

Kai Zen sits on its own private white sand beach in the private Cayman Kai resort neighborhood within Rum Point. This two-story villa has a quiet location and is conveniently near town.
This villa is surrounded by lush gardens. The private freshwater pool opens to the beach area, and sits in the middle of a deck with lounge chaises and side tables. A private barefoot beach is just a few steps away, with a hammock, dock, outdoor shower, al fresco dining, and BBQ. Kayaks, paddle boards, and Hobie Cats can be rented nearby and delivered to the villa. An outdoor dining area on the side of the villa seats 6. The open living area features clean lines and a 40 ft wall of windows with a beach view. There are minimal furnishings, so nothing distracts from the ocean view. The dining area seamlessly blends with the space to create a Great Room. The dining area has a breakfast bar and a dining table that seats 6. The fully-equipped kitchen is just around the corner, with modern appliances and outside access. The small study on the first floor features a pull-out sofa and a large desk with a beach view. The upstairs laundry room has a washer and dryer. The main level Master Suite has a queen bed, ocean view, ensuite bathroom, and access to the pool area. Each of the two Master Suites has a king bed, access to the oceanfront screened porch, an ensuite bathroom, and storage for guest items.
Kai Zen is only a 5-minute walk from the Kaibo Yacht Club and a 10-minute walk to the Rum Point Club. This villa is ideal for couples and friends traveling together thanks to the Master Suites and ample water activities.

Beautiful location, beautiful home - just perfect.
Kai Zen, Cayman villa review
When booking we chose this location to enjoy the home, the bay, the pool and the quiet area. It did not disappoint. The villa was we equipped for our family of 6 to cook, relax and enjoy the beauty. The location to Kaibo was so easy for boat pick ups for scuba and tours. The drive to 7 mile is close to an hour but we didn’t mind doing that for a night out. We would definitely book this home again.
Betsy was an absolute pleasure to deal with. When Delta cut our plans short by a day, she handled the change. She provided all kinds of info to make the trip easy and hassle free.

Best Vacation Ever!
Kai Zen, Cayman villa review
We stayed at Kai Zen for 5 nights with our family of 5 adults, and we had a great time. The private beach was 20 feet from the house and had plenty of chairs, loungers, and a hammock next to the water. At 4,000+ sq feet, we had plenty of room. This house is a 25-minute drive to Ocean Frontiers scuba outfitters, and we recommend the snorkel trip (3 hrs in length). The east end of the island is more remote and had fewer people, however, it is a 40-minute drive to the airport and Seven Mile Beach. We had groceries delivered and a kayak was rented for us. We enjoyed hanging out all day in the pool and on the beach.
Sharon was extremely responsive and sent us emails with what to do and where to go. This made the trip much easier because everything was taken care of for us. WhereToStay staff plans all our trips to this part of the world, and their villas are all excellent.

Quiet Paradise
Kai Zen, Cayman villa review
Kai Zen is very quiet and out of the way. It’s perfect for anyone who is looking for a secluded spot. There are a few great things to do within walking distance, but renting a car opens up the entire island. It’s an extremely nice place to stay.
Sharon is knowlegable and can recommend many great places to go for a wide variety of activities.

Wonderful Vacation
Kai Zen, Cayman villa review
Kai Zen has an excellent location, is quiet and clean, and you can walk to restaurants. We loved our two week 4-person rental. Our only complaint is the furniture in living room: there’s only 2 two-seater couches and one small chair. When two men stretched out snoring, there was nowhere else for anyone to sit. Also, there were no reading lights or side tables for drinks/coffee. For a villa this impressive and expensive, this is unacceptable. The room should have large comfortable couches, reading lights, and end tables so that six people can relax and enjoy the villa in the early morning and late evening. Also, it needs more comfortable lounge chairs with cushions or something outside. The “Zen” does not mean uncomfortable. Other than the furniture, we really enjoyed this villa. We have been renting villas in the Caribbean for over 20 years.
We had no problems with WhereToStay or Sharon. Sharon was very helpful and attentive.
