They did just that—the island can sleep 50 guests, and a full staff attends to every one of your needs. There’s too many gazebos, pools, and Jacuzzis to count, not to mention the ocean is always a few steps away. With a packed list of activities and entertainment, you’ll never be bored here! Exotic private island!
Calivigny Island is a luxury private island that sits 5 minutes off the coast of Grenada. Calivigny and the surrounding islands provide an abundance of activities for visitors, and highly trained staff are on hand 24/7 to attend to guests’ needs.
Spread over 80 acres with six sandy beaches and sweeping views of the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans, Calivigny features two Balinese and French Colonial-inspired residences and three custom designed luxury cottages. The island can accommodate up to 50 guests, with a fleet of boats, private chefs, and a host of activities for the adventurous and the lounger alike.
The Beach House is the most luxurious accommodation on the island. Guests can dine on chef-prepared meals in the oversized rotunda, dip into the huge freeform pool with a swim-up bar, and sunbathe on the wraparound terrace. Each suite has air-conditioning, a king or queen sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. The beauty salon can be converted to a classic bedroom suite upon request.
The Overhang House has nine suites, a huge balcony, several terraces, and a freshwater pool. Its steps from the beach, and every suite has views of the ocean. There’s a beachside gazebo, huge living area and dining room, and a private study. Each of the nine bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and TVs.
The Beach Bungalows are three nearly identical cottages within steps of the beach, each surrounded by an expansive terrace with a private Jacuzzi. Enjoy a gourmet lunch on the deck, or take a short ride in the ATV to the Beach House to meet up with the other guests for a true feast. Each Bungalow has a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, with a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom.
Calivigny Island is an ideal place for all types of events from family holidays, wedding celebrations to high level corporate trips. Guests have access to several private beaches on the island, numerous water sports and activities, jogging and cycling paths, and a full-sized tennis court. Go on a deep sea fishing expedition or a relaxing champagne sunset cruise on one of the island’s boats. There’s even a nautical themed tree house overlooking Turtle Beach. Grenada is just a 5 minute boat ride away, where guests can canyon down the Seven Sisters waterfalls or go snorkeling for underwater treasure.
