Casa De Montana sits elevated on a verdant hillside near the charming town of Alaró, at the gateway to the Tramuntana mountains. This tranquil area is defined by rolling farmland, traditional estates, and scenic walking routes – including the much-loved hike up to Alaró Castle. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, the location offers excellent access across the island: the golden beaches of Alcúdia Bay are 30 minutes away, while Palma and its international airport can be reached in just 20 minutes.
The house itself is equally captivating: a classic whitewashed Mallorcan country home, adorned with terracotta roof tiles and charming wooden shutters. Inside, the ambience is warm and characterful, combining rustic charm with refined details. Sunlight floods the interiors, highlighting elegant chandeliers, gilt-framed artwork, and carefully chosen furnishings. From various terraces and windows, sweeping panoramic views stretch across Mallorca’s central plains, creating a truly restorative retreat where time seems to slow and relaxation comes naturally.
The villa offers four spacious double bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. The décor is soft, stylish, and understated, creating a restful atmosphere throughout. Three bedrooms enjoy stunning countryside views, and all feature private en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and/or bathtubs, along with plush towels and quality toiletries.
Days at Casa De Montana are made for unwinding. Stretch out on a cushioned sun lounger beside the pool, drift in and out of the water, and inhale the fragrant garden air – relaxation comes effortlessly here. The villa boasts two distinct terrace areas: one featuring a bespoke local stone table seating eight which is perfect for long alfresco lunches and evening suppers, and another furnished with plush seating, providing an idyllic spot for refreshments or sundowner drinks.
Indoors, the inviting sitting room features deeply comfortable sofas and opens directly onto the terrace, allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living. There’s also a dedicated office space including a desk, computer and printer should you need to balance a little work with your holiday.
