Wonderful Ardisia experience
Ardisia Villa, St. John villa review
The house was amazing. Plenty of individual areas to break away from family and friends to read alone or work if need be. The pool was comfortable, spacious, and deep enough for swimming. The rooms, kitchen, and, living room were all lovely; the kitchen was well supplied. Iguanas arrived as pool guests each afternoon which I personally love. Everything exceeded expectations with the exception of the air conditioning in 2 rooms failed making sleeping very uncomfortable. The management company repaired one, but the other required parts. Overall- I would stay here again for sure!!
Betsy was very helpful and responsive. Sharon was frustrating and not as knowledgeable about the property: The water within the home is treated not requiring guests to buy bottled water outside of the home (I expect water filtering or treatment with a luxury home), spices and other items were available from previous guests (which is part of the vacation rental charm-share a little leave a little)...the kitchen was not empty as conveyed (COVID practices of sterilization ended years ago), the wifi works in every room (again, expected luxury home amenity when advertised on website) and she wasn't confident in that resulting in my brother bringing unnecessary equipment to make sure he could do business from his room, and not Sharon's fault but it was conveyed that a coffee bean grinder was available so we brought really good beans and the coffee grinder didn't work so we were bummed. Her misinformation about the home brought me unnecessary stress leading up to the vacation as I thought I researched enough to pick a home with certain expectations (and addressed business & price justification needs for my brother and husband) which became questionable after communication with Sharon. It turned out all good, but I was unnecessarily disappointed about my selection before we saw the house. I have high expectations especially when I spend a year researching and planning amazing trips for my extended family. In the end, the house was amazing for us and the island team did a great job providing drinks and snacks upon arrival, calls when Carnival events would impede driving, and responsive to the air conditioning service needed.

Amazing Accommodations!

The home was incredible. We had 5 couples stay here for a week & everything was fantastic! All the bedrooms were great sized & there was plenty of space to spread out & relax throughout the entire home. The pool, outdoor space, kitchen - etc - everything was A Plus! When anything went wrong - someone was there to fix it immediately. Would highly recommend.
This is our 3rd time & the best yet. Jean & Sharon know their stuff & are always amazing to work with.

This was our second stay at Ardisia and it feels like we're returning home to our island getaway. The villa is beautiful and well appointed. It has everything you could need and more and we can't wait to visit again!

The Adrisia villa has an excellent floorplan with quality throughout. All rooms are oversized to provide ample privacy and allow 10 people to spread comfortably. Beds, linens and towels and pool towels are top quality. All 5 bedroom baths have double sinks, and 7 bathrooms in all. The pool bath gives you an idea of the thought that went into planning of this house. The separate 5th bedroom or “Grandparents Suite” is genius for quiet solitude and privacy.
The kitchen is well provisioned with quality cookware, bakeware, spices, blenders, coffee maker & grinder, ample dinnerware, silverware, cooking utensils, hand towels, even food storage containers for leftovers.
Most rental homes or condos supply a minimal amount of dish, laundry soap, and essential household items. The starter sets were more than sufficient for a weeks stay.
This is one of the few beach/ocean front properties on St John with easy private access to Great Cruz Bay.
One service not provided was trash. You will need to take all trash to a local dumpster, an issue without a car. Taxi services will not allow trash in their vehicles.
The management team is a pleasure to work with. A greeter shows you the property, ensures a flawless stay, making family memories that will last a lifetime.
Snorkel trip with Captainjug.com is outstanding for family outings with a private cabin/bathroom, a must for children. Captain Jug and first mate, Rebecca, are very accommodating and personable in planning your day on the water.
I have dealt with many homes/condos on many islands over many years. Where to stay, Shawna, Sharon and the entire crew were a pleasure to work with. Shawna was more than patient with my needs and sense of urgency in booking our stay. Thank you again for accommodating my request.

The villa was beautiful with non-stop views. It's very close to all of the amenities of Cruz Bay, but incredibly private at the same time. We'll definitely book this villa again.
WhereToStay.com, and Betsy in particular, were incredibly helpful, responsive, and attentive. We'd certainly use the service again.

Great house to rent, all rooms are about the same size, nice large kitchen, pool and outside area are amazing features. We ended up staying at the villa a lot more than we thought.
Shawna and team were always available before and during the stay.

Fabulous Home Away from Home

Ardisia is stunning. Our family of 9 loved it. Fabulous decor throughout. We felt like we were staying at a movie star’s home! Home is very well laid out and comfortable. Great to have a bedroom on the first floor and a separate unit away from the action. The kitchen is gourmet throughout. Loved the villa.
Betsy and the entire team were top notch to work with. Great job! Will definitely work with you in the future!

We had an amazing time at Villa Ardisia. Very spacious, outdoor showers and beach access. What more could you want?! What a special way to spend the holidays. Truly outstanding!

From the minute you step into Ardisia Villa and every minute you are there, Ardisia brings a sense of serenity and peace from its architectural design to how it captures the beauty of St. John. You will certainly not be disappointed with your stay here.
I am not sure where to even begin in describing how wonderful Shawna and her team were in helping us with our visit to St. John. Shawna was patient and open to what we were looking for and was always available to answering our questions and concerns. Even through the challenges of the pandemic, she was with us every step of the way.

We’ve stayed at many villas in St John over the years but Ardisia is undoubtedly our favorite. The location in Great Cruz Bay is convenient to town. It has every amenity you can think of and is beautifully designed. The outdoor area is as spacious as it is beautiful.
