Panache Villa, St. John villa review
First impression is amazing with a beautiful set of stairs leading to the pool deck with a spectacular view of the south shore bays and Caribbean Sea! The villa provides a very good layout for our family of 15. The newly renovated touches are very well done. Beautiful tile, fresh colors of paint, comfortable furniture both inside and out, and spacious kitchen, family room and pool/deck areas. It is hard to imagine a better spot if you enjoy relaxing in the warm sun under a blue sky/white clouds, an amazing view, a cool island drink, occasional dip in the pool, your favorite music on the sound system, while surrounded by friends and family. I’m still day dreaming about a return trip.
Jean and Sharon were very helpful throughout the process from arranging the rental agreement to assisting with details of our trip. Both offered helpful suggestions for where to rent equipment, vehicles, sourcing pre-stocking groceries and meals, and accessing private transfers. Using the folks they recommended and following their instructions worked out well for us.

We could have not asked for anything better for our stay. We had 9 guest and everyone was happy with our choice to stay at Panache. The pool was absolutely wonderful. All rooms were very nice, clean and cool. My next stay on St. John will be at Panache Villa again.
Very easy to work with Jean. Jean makes your stay very easy when booking with her. Jean helped with any needs we had before heading down.

Words can’t express our stay at Villa Panache! The views are incredible. We started each day with a breakfast fit for champions(The kitchen is remarkable). After a long day at the beach we would gather on the pool deck to talk about everything that happened and enjoy a bbq. The Villa was perfect for our 2 families which included 8 young adults. Everyone had their own separate bedroom and bath which made getting ready for dinner very easy.
Shawna was remarkable!!! Our vacation which was planned in Nov 20219 but didn’t happen in 2020 thanks to Covid for well worth the wait in 2021. She was a pleasure to work with!

Panache Villa, St. John villa review
Our family of five, plus my parents, stayed at Panache Villa for five nights. The home is lovely, clean, has a great kitchen and amazing views! We appreciated the welcome snacks and the toiletries in the bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything you need; an abundance of dishes, cookware, utensils, even spices! There were plenty of beach bags for groceries and the beach, two coolers and beach chairs. The best thing about this house are the views. They are AMAZING!! We were comfortable, really enjoyed the house and had a great time there!
Shawna is great!! She’s very friendly and professional, and regularly communicated with us to make sure we had everything prepared for our arrival. She was quick to answer any questions we had and was very helpful. We loved working with her on this rental!

Panache Villa, St. John villa review
Villa Panache was a wonderful fit for our family group of 7 adults - the property is well laid out, comfortably furnished, and beautiful to look at. I loved the Mexican tile floors everywhere, and the views are gorgeous. It was everything the photos showed, and then some!
Shawna was exceptionally responsive and also proactive in providing information and asking what optional stuff we might want. I’ll go to her again for another trip to St John :)

Need to upgrade the AC in the lower level
Panache Villa, St. John villa review
Great villa except the air handler in the lower level is undersized for the space according to the technician who came out when we called to have it checked. Never got below 77. Probably not as big a deal during winter months, but we stayed in August when the days get pretty hot and humid. Except for this issue, the villa served our group of 13 very well.

Five of us stayed at the Panache Villa, and were all entranced by the lovely view.
At night, sitting on the deck looking up at the stars was wonderful with the cool breezes.
The house was super - older, but well maintained. Having AC throughout was important to us, but a couple of the wall units were more than noisy, and had the musty/damp smell.
This was our first time in St. John, and one week truly was not long enough to explore everything. They had excellent snorkeling!

Panache Villa, St. John villa review
Panache is an older, beautifully maintained villa that is very well equipped. Because of its age, it has a first class spot looking over Rendevous Bay.
It is difficult to find an all AC villa with a heated pool, but Panache has both. The bedrooms are just about equal. However, there is a one-bedroom with a little adjoining room (used for younger children) in the main house, which has a splendid great room with huge doors that open out to that terrific view.
The other bedrooms are across the veranda, and are in a separate building via staircases. They are very private from one another, but would not be suitable for young children (too far away). Teens or other couples would find the privacy a plus.
There is a self contained apartment under the pool deck via a staircase. The only drawback (at this date) was the dated little old TV in the great room. There was no cable while we were here. However, there was a DVD player. There were no TVs in any bedrooms, either.
The outdoor shower wasn’t really outdoors. It just connected to a very narrow alley. Ask to have the pool heater started before you get there. It took a day to get comfortable, even though this is an all-day sundeck.
If this property had a hot tub and better TVs, I would rate it a “5”. This our 19th trip to St. John.

Everything was great - the staff, the villa, the island and the weather. The whole vacation went off without a hitch.
We will contact Andrew Macafee at wheretostay.com to plan our trip next year. One week on St. John is not long enough!
