With almost every room opening onto the walkway or covered deck, you’ll be able to enjoy the tropical breezes and garden fragrances from anywhere in the house. Styled for Caribbean living, cushioned rattan rocking chairs on the deck provide a spot to savor the views and truly taste the island life!

Great Turtle Villa combines a peaceful setting with sought-after amenities to maximize its guest’s vacation experience. This gated property offers air-conditioning in each of its four bedrooms, a private swimming pool, and spacious decks for sunning. Views of Coral Bay, the Caribbean Sea, and the Bordeaux Mountains provide the backdrop for this villa, and Great Turtle is conveniently located (just a 10-minute drive) to North Shore beaches and on into downtown Coral Bay.
Beyond the electronic gate and down the immaculately landscaped driveway, Great Turtle Villa’s Great Room (composed of a comfortable living area, dining area with seating for eight, and a fully equipped kitchen) awaits your arrival. Screened mahogany French doors bring the outside in so guests can enjoy the cool, tropical breeze and uninterrupted views.
Adjacent to the kitchen (which includes stainless steel appliances and a granite topped island with stools for kitchen helpers) and through the screened doors, the BBQ grill stands ready for duty. The Bordeaux Mountain ridgeline provides a scenic backdrop while grilling.
Back inside, comfortable lounge seating is provided for enjoying movie nights in front of the TV, or a quiet area for reading. When not in use, the entertainment center is conveniently tucked away in an armoire. A half-bath around the corner completes the main living area.
The pool area on the lower deck opens out to Coral Bay and the Caribbean Sea beyond. The upper deck spans the entire property across the pool area and to the separate bedroom wing where the master bedroom suite is located. The air-conditioning that’s provided is rarely needed in this airy bedroom suite. Stairs lead down to the pool level where gates swing closed for pool safety. The decking on both levels is a high-tech composite product and was constructed without screws or nails that might snag toes. The second bedroom suite is located poolside, directly below the master bedroom suite. A huge rock garden adds to the feeling of privacy.
Past the pool, which is the centerpiece at Great Turtle Villa, a large covered deck provides shade and is the location for the other two bedroom suites. The closest bedroom has two twin beds that can easily be converted into a king, if desired. The decor is simple yet pleasing, designed for relaxed living. The 4th bedroom has a queen-sized bed. A hammock is directly outside the bedroom. All of the bedroom suites enjoy the same great views of Coral Bay, the Caribbean Sea, and the Bordeaux Mountain.
Villa Notes:
The comforters in each bedroom aren’t just for show. Occasionally the early morning hours can feel chilly at almost 900 feet above sea level.
