We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AltaGracia. The view was amazing! The house is very spacious, nicely appointed and a quick drive into Cruz Bay. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

we so enjoyed our week! Altagracia is the perfect place to stay, close to town, but peaceful and quiet! The villa is super well outfitted for couples or families traveling together! With everyone having their own private space, it was so nice to be able to spread out. Our blender broke, and they brought us another one in just a couple of hours! The service was superb.
Betsy was wonderful to work with! Everything was absolutely perfect!

The villa was wonderful for our party of 8. My husband and I have stayed at various places on the island and this villas location cannot be beat! The house was great. A few bumps (dishwasher not working/bedroom door that couldn’t open easily/one bedroom has an unusual bathroom layout) but I would go back in a minute even with those things!
Where To Stay, Shawna and Viki could NOT have been more accommodating. Thank you!

Clean and with all accessories, in the middle of a wonderful tropical garden and with an astonishing view of the Caribbean Sea.

Overall we had a very good experience at this villa. The location (close to town and restaurants) and view of St Thomas was worth it. A big plus was the air conditioning units in the bedrooms which provided comfortable sleeping since the kitchen and living area was very warm during the day. The pool and outdoor seating areas were nice for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. There were a couple roof leaks during the morning rains but nothing to effect our stay.

We had a great stay at Altagracia Villa! The location to town and getting around was perfect. The outdoor space and views were amazing! The indoor/outdoor living and relaxed vibe was perfect. The street was very quiet, too.
Booking with WhereToStay was easy and they were right on top of getting answers to any of my questions.

Good Location and Nice Pool
Altagracia Villa, St. John villa review
The Villa itself is in good repair. The pool was clean, and not warm or too cold. The bedrooms are air conditioned, and the living areas are not. From mid morning to sundown it is too warm to stay in the main living areas. That did not matter to us as we were in the pool or gone to town, beach, etc. during the day. The master bedroom and bath are fine, one of the other bathrooms needed to hold down lever to flush. We had a smoke detector that went off, and maintenance was there very quickly and fixed the problem the first time. This is not a luxury villa, and is a little dated, but was clean and close to the ferry, restaurants, etc. It was worth the price to us for 3 King beds, and a 4th bedroom as well.
Where to Stay and Betsy were great to work with. No issues at all, and they were good to check on us to see if everything was as expected. Winnie was our greeter, and was a pleasure to work with. I have traveled quite a bit, and this company is exemplary.

Altagracia Villa, St. John villa review
The villa had lovely views , adequate space, well stocked with amenities, pool and exterior were very nice, BUT both downstairs bedrooms had very damp moldy odors especially in the bathrooms, the downstairs bedroom doors would not lock, and several of the sliders on the main level did not lock.
The downstairs bedroom with the king size bed I assume had BEDBUGS because I had to be treated at patient care immediately upon my return to the states for the VERY UNCOMFORTABLE bites that the doctor diagnosed as bedbugs. Consequently, it is difficult for me to give the villa a 5 star rating.
