Know Before You Go...®
Casa Del Sol is perfect for four couples or two families who want to relax and unwind on one of the Caribean’s quietest islands. St. John is gorgeously lush and totally peaceful, but there’s still action in Cruz Bay. This villa is great for two groups because the bedrooms are all separated between two towers on either side of the common area.
Casa Del Sol Villa is one of Klein Bay’s most exclusive villas. Limited development of the area insures its unique beauty, privacy and peacefulness.
There’s plenty of covered decks and balconies for people who love to spend time outside, but not in the sun. The decks have a direct line of sight into the pool, so adults can relax nearby but still keep on eye on any kids swimming below. A covered deck also extends off the Great Room. The pool, wet bar, a full bath, and a covered patio are located on the lower level. Both the pool and the roomy sun deck are bathed in sunshine from sunrise to late in the afternoon, and at night, moonlight reflects off the sea below. The pool has stereo speakers on both sides, and a granite wet bar and fridge are a few steps away. As a member of the Klein Bay Association, Casa Del Sol guests have access to the pebble beach and safe swimming in calm, turquoise waters. A short swim leads to a white sand beach on Ditliff Point.
Casa Del Sol is a plantation-style home with a main house flanked on either side by a two-level bedroom tower. The main house and the bedroom towers are connected by tiled decks and courtyards. Traditional Caribbean materials like native stone, antique brick, mahogany doors, terra cotta floors, and beamed cathedral ceilings run throughout. Guests park above the villa and descend tiled stairs to the upper level. This level holds the Great Room, two bedrooms, and exterior access. The living area has wicker and mahogany furnishings, a 32” flatscreen TV, an entertainment system, and a sound system. A mahogany dining table and breakfast nooks allow guests to dine inside or out, and WiFi is available all over the villa. The kitchen combines beauty and function with mahogany cabinets and granite countertops. Its equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, a four-burner electric stove, convection ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker. Calphalon cookware is provided. The four bedrooms are contained in the two-level towers located on either side of the main house. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have mahogany beds, custom built mahogany and granite baths, and showers with a view. Each has a private balcony and ensuite bathrooms. The upper level king suites are spacious and open to a covered balcony, while the lower level queen suites open to a covered deck. The four bedrooms are very private, with no common walls.
The restaurants and nightlife of Cruz Bay are a 10-minute drive on paved roads. There are several beaches around the villa as well.
