Fantastic Vacation
Lime Tree at Peter Bay, St. John villa review
Lime Tree was everything we hoped for. The views were amazing. Some of the additional “surprises” were a commercial ice maker and kitchen appliances and utensils that were above average. Having coffee or breakfast on the balcony overlooking Cinnamon and Trunk was the highlight of our mornings. And the new restaurant serving dinner at Cinnamon was delicious and convenient!
Shawna was great. She made sure we had all of the support we needed to get to the island and enjoy our vacation.

Breathtaking Views!
Lime Tree at Peter Bay, St. John villa review
Lime Tree has breathtaking views overlooking Peter Bay. The villa decor both inside and out is very comfortable, and carefree, Kitchen is well stocked so great for those who love to cook, and great views while doing so! Driving to get to the villa can be tricky but once you get used to it, it’s well worth it!
Shawna was wonderful to work with during the whole process of researching villas to ensuring our arrival was seamless.

Wonderful family and wedding trip
Lime Tree at Peter Bay, St. John villa review
First of all, what an amazing view! I think that pretty much every morning we saw a rainbow out over the water. The online photos are both realistic, and do not do the place justice. In the back of my brain prior to arrival, I was wondering if it was really going to be nearly as nice as it looked and sounded, and it was better!
We had a large mixed family group of 9 adults and 2 small kids, and it was a great fit. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, but a really nice spot in the kitchen/dining/living room area for everyone to gather without being cramped. The pool was great for the kids to splash in, and the hot tub was nice to have in the evenings. We did have one privately prepared meal for the group, and the chef had no problem navigating the awesome appliances in the kitchen, and the layout made it very comfortable for entertaining for a dinner party of 15 - we set up both the indoor dining room table and the patio table with the doors open and it was lovely.
I will add that the management team was very responsive- we had a small issue with the fridge (control panel had gotten iced over), and it was dealt with very promptly. Also on the last morning the water cistern pump needed to be switched over and the maintenance guy (also incredibly friendly - sorry I forget his name!) popped right over to deal with it.
Overall, what an epic trip! Definitely recommended!
It was great working with WhereToStay.com. Shawna was very responsive and proactive prior to the trip with helpful reminders of what to set up and when. She also answered all of our questions and inquiries about what sort of events would be practical or allowable at that villa. Very helpful indeed!

Summer Stay at Lime Tree
Lime Tree at Peter Bay, St. John villa review
Lime Tree was overall wonderful. The photographs don’t do it justice. There’s plenty of room and it has a great layout. The kitchen appliances are top notch.
The only recommendations I would have would be to increase the amount of cookware: more cutting boards, baking trays, frying pans, and pots. I enjoy cooking and I was a little constrained by the lack of hardware, which was a shame as the kitchen was designed to cook for 10.
Other than that, we had a great stay and look forward to doing it again.

Lime Tree at Peter Bay, St. John villa review
We had a great week in Lime Tree at Peter Bay! There were 12 in our party, including an infant, and the house’s layout facilitated group activities while preserving privacy. The views from this property are wonderful. The amenities include top of the line appliances, complete kitchen and cooking gear, beer cooler, large ice maker, pool/beach chairs/coolers/towels/games/floats. The power went out during our stay a couple times (they are re-doing all the power lines on the island), and the generator worked like a charm so fun continued on without any delay. The parking is very tight, and four-door jeeps may find it challenging. Lime Tree is a wonderful place we would come to again.
Shawna and the WhereToStay team were on the job! They offered great support, and all the arrangements went as planned. There were some last minute changes to our departure and Shawna made sure our party was fully informed. Great work!
