Spacious and colorful, Mare Blu Villa overlooking Rendezvous Bay is the ideal getaway for your St. John vacation. Up to 12 people can call this villa their home, and there’s plenty of space for everyone. With 6 bedrooms, everyone gets a private retreat within the villa, and this privacy is further enhanced with the unique multi-pavilion layout. Everything is contained within 4 separate pavilions which are linked by the outdoor terrace that overlooks the bay. The main pavilion houses the Great Room, which includes the living room, a gourmet kitchen, and an adjacent outdoor kitchen with a dining table. Another pavilion has 4 bedrooms on 2 levels, while the third pavilion contains the remaining bedrooms. Every room at Mare Blu boasts a spectacular sea view, though this vista can best be enjoyed out on the pool terrace. Here you can swim or sunbathe while you gaze at the ocean below, or if you prefer to swim at the beach, it’s only a few minutes away.

Mare Blu is a 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom villa with many colors and a great floor plan. Overlooking Rendezvous Bay, Mare Blu is considered to be one of St. John’s most luxurious and stylish super-villas.
Built in four spacious pavilions (linked together by generous outdoor living areas, the large swimming pool, and lush tropical gardens) Mare Blu offers six spacious bedroom suites, an indoor gourmet kitchen (flanked by an outdoor kitchen with dining and sitting area), and a beautifully-decorated Great Room.
The property’s main level (or main pavilion) offers the air-conditioned Great Room, a large covered and shady patio with outdoor living area, and a gourmet kitchen. Right outside (through sliding screened pocket doors) is the outdoor kitchen and alfresco dining area with a convenient screened pass-through from the kitchen.
The Great Room features a cypress ceiling, a large plasma TV with cable and DVD player, plus lots of DVD movies and games for the whole family. There’s also a card/games table, and two sitting areas. A powder room is right around the corner, clad in travertine marble from top to bottom.
Adjoining is the gourmet kitchen and pantry, a glass-tiled accent wall behind the gas cook top, skylights, custom cabinetry of African makori burl wood and stainless steel, and great selections of dinnerware, glassware, and chef’s tools. The kitchen offers an island with prep sink, two dishwashers, a microwave/convection oven, a standard oven, a large three-door refrigerator and a small desk to the side. Sliding pocket doors lead from the kitchen to Mare Blu’s second kitchen just outside, which has a stainless steel professional gas grill, a second oven, and an icemaker.
Outside on the large L-shaped covered patio is an alfresco dining area surrounded by lots of cushioned seating for cocktails and conversation. This shady pavilion flows into a large open sun deck furnished with chaise lounge chairs at the pool’s edge. Mare Blu’s outdoor furniture, designed by Dedon, is first class and comfortable in every way.
The sun deck continues to the pool’s covered loggia - a shaded poolside lounge area where more cushioned seating, a 48-inch TV with cable, DVD player and movies are located. Refrigerated drawers are available to keep drinks and snacks cold while guests swim and sunbathe. There’s also a closet with pool floats, and a glass-tiled powder room available poolside. The laundry room is also off the pool loggia, where a supply of beach towels are made available.
Beyond the loggia is the two-level bedroom pavilion, where four roomy and air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites await. On the pool level are two suites: the two-twin (or 1 king) Indigo Suite and the Orange Suite with its king sleigh bed and an alfresco shower.
On the garden level below are the queen Yellow Suite and the Pink Suite with two twin beds (which can also be made up into a king bed with advance request). Glass sliding doors open from both the Orange Suite and the Yellow Suite to screened porches where guests can read and watch the Caribbean Sea in the privacy provided by etched glass panels depicting undersea life.
All four bathrooms feature double vanities, and all are completely tiled in gray granite from floor to ceiling. The Pink Suite’s bathroom also offers a bathtub, and the Yellow Suite features a semi-alfresco shower. Outside this pavilion are stepping stones through a lawn which will take you past flowers and palm trees to the Ginger Suite, a very secluded bedroom/bath suite tucked under the Great Room’s pavilion. This air-conditioned hideaway offers a four-poster king bed draped with netting, a gray granite ensuite bath with a double vanity and shower. Just outside is a private patio to enjoy the ocean view.
Mare Blu’s sixth bedroom/bath suite, the Blue Suite, is located in the third pavilion, above the main pavilion in its own private realm overlooking the sea. This air-conditioned queen suite has its own mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and a balcony just outside sliding glass doors.
This well-equipped property makes the most of its locale, with every room overlooking Rendezvous Bay, and aluminum gates, top-of-the-line fixtures and finishes, hypoallergenic bedding, and the best of everything to meet your vacation needs. Privacy is well maintained at Mare Blu by tall tree lines and tropical landscaping. Just a short drive to Cruz Bay and the National Park beaches beyond, Mare Blu is well-located and offers plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy.

A $3000 fully-refundable damage deposit paid in advance is also required. *ALL tables, flatware, china, dishes and glassware for the wedding MUST be rented or provided by your caterer.
