Abby gave us great advice for awesome food and festivities. We will definitely return to St. John and visit this villa again! Thank you for a great vacation experience!!!

What a wonderful time we had! A dream come true for me as I had been wanting to bring my family to St John for a long time. The villa was wonderful and we experienced a vacation we will never forget. Everything we needed was provided. We would definitely recommend Where To Stay for planning your trip!

We’ll Be Back!

We had the best time and the villa was perfect for us! The house has everything you need, the view is gorgeous, the pool is perfect after a long day on the beach and the kitchen had everything and more. The location for us was awesome - easy ride to Cruz Bay and easily accessible to Centerline Road to head to Coral Bay. It is super private and we barely saw or heard anyone else.
The 4 bedrooms each have a large bathroom. We did not need as much space as we had but it was nice for us to be able to spread out.
The house was spotless and the one very small issue we had was handled immediately. Truly an awesome vacation!
Shawna was awesome and very helpful particularly with arrival info.

The Villa was perfect for our family. The views and sunsets are spectacular! We would have morning coffee out there and afternoon happy hour! The location was great to all the shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The kitchen was well equipped and even nice to see some extras available like spices, coffee filters, etc. The rooms and decor were beautiful and the place was very clean. I would recommend it and stay again.
I would 100% use WhereToStay.com again. It was so nice having someone to make recommendations on the location of where to stay, reservations, boat charters, jeep rentals, etc! Shawna was always quick to respond and very helpful! It was a bonus when we arrived to see a little welcome gift from them too! Such an unexpected wonderful way to start our vacation!

Every Day is the Best Day

Over our almost two weeks on St. John, we realized that, at the end of every day, it was our best day. Seagrass had a perfect set-up for the four couples who joined the trip. It offered two indoor living areas, an expansive kitchen, four equal bedrooms, an awesome outdoor area with a pool that had incredible views, and a second outdoor space downstairs. Seagrass is very accessible to the north shore beaches, Cruz Bay, and connects easily to the drive over to the east side. We also enjoyed walking around the area, realizing, and loving the workout, that there are some tough inclines/declines, including walking down (and back up) to the Westin. It is also just minutes away from our new favorite, The Windmill, which is a must-see at sunset. We will be back again to Love City and would definitely consider Villa Seagrass for our next visit!
Working with WhereToStay.com & Shawna was, per usual, fantastic! Shawna and the WTS team consistently communicates, provides a TON of helpful information about our trip, the beautiful island of St. John, the surrounding areas, restaurants, places to visit, the beaches, and all other needed detail when traveling, especially with a group. I would not consider using anyone else for our next trip, which we are already planning, and look forward to working with Shawna and the WTS team again for our trip to Love City. Travel to St. John and work with Shawna - you won’t regret it!

A fabulous villa!

My husband and I and our 3 adult children and 2 spouses stayed at Seagrass villa the last week of May 2021. We had a wonderful time. The villa was perfect, very spacious, 4 master suites very separate from each other and very private. No one felt cramped. The downstairs additional living area was perfect entertainment after we got home from dinner. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Seagrass. We hope to return next year.
Shawna was great! She sent me emails with her favorite restaurants and activities for us while there. She also made our trip easy because she kept us aware of all travel guidelines needed for our stay in St. John. She gave us names of rental car agencies, arranged private taxi service to and from airport. She basically took care of everything! Even told us where we could order groceries and food shop. Our trip was wonderful largely due to Shawna’s help.

Perfect!

We just came back from Seagrass, and it’s a fantastic place. In the large master suites, the king beds and master bathrooms are all exactly the same. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had open-air showers. This would be a perfect house for 4 couples, because there’s plenty of room. We had 2 kids who had their own rooms and 4 adults who shared two rooms. The house itself was perfect. There was a great living space upstairs, and downstairs has a pool table and TV. The pool was a little small, but great after a long day at the beach or sightseeing around the island. The kitchen has everything you need, plus the owners sent over a very nice welcome basket. We LOVED the laundry room’s two washers and two dryers! Seagrass also included all linens, towels, TP, etc. I would absolutely rent this house again. I almost forgot to mention… there’s a great view overlooking the Westin.
Shawna was great, and booking through WhereToStay was very easy.

Girls getaway
Chase the Sun, St. John villa review
This was our first time to the US Virgin Islands and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Overall we were very pleased with the villa and all the amenities that were included - pool toys, beach gear, pool table, etc. The villa was very comfortable for the five of us and the complimentary items provided by the owners was a nice touch upon check in. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the double washer/double dryer setup.
On the downside, the sheets in the lower level bedroom were not changed, so we had to remake the bed using the spare sheets in the closet; more shade on the pool deck would be nice, as it is full sun all day; the lower level patio had not been cleaned so we didn’t utilize that area; the location is difficult to get to without a rental car; wish the pool was bigger but it was a nice size to cool off in the afternoon.
I’m very pleased with the booking process on WhereToStay. Shawna and Sharon were fantastic to work with and did not miss any details.

The Villa was excellent overall. It was in a perfect location high up in the mountain overlooking Great Cruz Bay, 15 minutes to town, living space and pool were fantastic. It was a perfect recommendation by Where to Stay. Only issues we ran into regarding the house was some minor things but a pain we had to deal with. Microwave died but they gave us a temp fix the next day, one of the washing machines did not work half way through trip and did not get fixed, the umbrella outside could not be taken down and was being held up by a string, we had to call an exterminator twice for ants in 1 bathroom that took 3 times for them to come out, ice maker did not work even after they tried to repair it. The house needed repair and fixing up by the current owners but they were selling the property. For the amount of money that was spent on renting the house it should have been in better shape. Besides those minor things overall could not have picked a better Villa or location. Definitely would recommend this house once things are fixed up.
