Every room in this villa has breathtaking water views! Whether you’re relaxing on the covered deck or creating a light snack in the modern kitchen, you’re in touch with the sea. The best part of the villa, however, is the way it invites conversation and togetherness. The kitchen island is a natural gathering place, and if you want to enjoy a formal meal you can set the large dining room table or move the party onto the deck and enjoy the endless tropical breezes. Then head to the poolside wet bar and make a toast to the setting sun.
The perfect getaway spot for 3-4 couples or a family!
Overlooking Great Cruz Bay, the lovely La Bella Vita Villa is located within the exclusive Virgin Grand Estates. The constant trade winds blow as the sun sets across St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands, where fourteen islands and numerous cays provide breathtaking sunset views year round.
La Bella Vita Villa offers four master suites, a gourmet kitchen designed by a professional chef, a Great Room with media center, and expansive outdoor decking for sun worshipers.
All four of La Bella Vita’s bedrooms are equal in size and come with air conditioners, ceiling fans, and screened windows. Two bedrooms are on the main level and two are on the lower level - all set apart to offer maximum privacy for couples or families. Three bedrooms feature king-sized four-poster beds. The fourth bedroom features two twin beds that can be converted into a king, if desired. Each bedroom has a “St. John shower” - known for their stone walls and picture window to see the view!
The kitchen and Great Room allow for relaxation in front of the TV/DVD and stereo while others entertain themselves with the collection of board games. Choose some light reading, while those who enjoy cooking prepare a meal in the kitchen. As evening approaches, pull up a stool to the outdoor bar and take in the view as you barbeque and dine under the stars.

La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
This home is truly the perfect home to vacation in. Each room is a master suite with an amazing stone shower that can open up with a million dollar view and the island breeze. Each bedroom is also designed to have their privacy by having the entrances via the sliding doors. If some of the group want to be in the main living area or kitchen late at night it isn’t disturbing anyone due to this wonderful thought out design.
The views were absolutely breathtaking.. The sun sets directly in front of the home. Every morning and night that’s where we were looking out over the bay to the blue water. One morning we even had the most vibrant double rainbow directly in front of us! There are so many seating and gathering spots in this home that you never feel on top of each other. We loved the many speakers throughout and was very easy to connect with our phones and control the different rooms with the music. The supply of beach chairs, towels and coolers were wonderful for the days that we went exploring on the many beautiful beaches.
I would highly recommend this home if you’re traveling to St. John’s.
Jean and WhereToStay were wonderful to work with. She was very quick to answer any of my questions and had a great deal of knowledge for recommendations around the Island.

La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
Our family has rented various properties in the Virgin Grande Estates, and this one did not disappoint. The views are spectacular, and the home is well appointed. Each room has a view and identical layout so there is no squabbling about getting the quality room because they are all high quality!
As always, we were so taken care of. We realized after settling in the first evening that our coffee maker was not working. I emailed the property manager very late that night - thinking we could hopefully have a new one in the next few days - and preparing to have to venture out to find coffee in the morning. To our surprise we had a new coffee maker first thing the very next morning! Those little details make all the difference.
The home was very clean, and we didn’t see a bug in the house during our stay - which is a big deal in such a tropical locale. Extra points for having typical essential home supplies like laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, paper towels and trash bags to get you started.
We will certainly be renting this home again for our family. Just can’t say enough about the entire experience!

La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
Gorgeous villa located in the hills above Cruz Bay.
We were 3 couples who had this planned for the past year.
The property was nicely appointed from the decor, to the grounds and the view was absolutely amazing.
The rooms were all equal size, the A/C worked well and the bathrooms were huge with really nice showers. Plenty of chairs outside for sitting and relaxing. Pool floats, beach chairs, coolers all provided. Outside grille and fridge for beers and drinks.
We all could not get enough of the view. It was spectacular and never got old.
We rented a car and drove to the beaches all within 20 mins. We would call for taxi in the evening into town because the roads down into town are quite steep and parking not easy. If renting a car be prepared for some really winding roads and some challenges.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this villa and would stay again.

Wonderful Trip!
La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
We had an amazing week at La Bella Vita. The Villa is the perfect set up for a large family or multiple couples. We loved the 4 master suites surrounding a nice gathering space. The outdoor area was fantastic - exactly what we had wanted - an outdoor entertainment area with plenty of sun decks. The Villa was extremely well stocked - another pleasant surprise. The gated community was an unexpected bonus.
Shawna was amazing to work with! She patiently answered my many questions and her attention to detail was just what we needed when traveling during covid. Her knowledge of St. John and her recommendations were very helpful. She was extremely attentive and her follow through was amazing. We so appreciated her customer service - from helping us pick the perfect villa for our family vacation to arranging all of our transports to making sure we had a birthday cake and balloons to celebrate a special occasion.

Impeccable

This Villa could not have been any better. Perfect for a group of 8, with 4 sizeable bedrooms, all with large modern bathrooms. The living/kitchen area is very open and spacious.
The backyard, pool and the views, say no more. Absolutely incredible.
Betsy may be the best travel consultant I have ever worked with. She was attentive to our needs from the day I called her, and ensured all of our trip/bookings went to plan. She is the prime example of someone who really cares about her clients.

This oasis of beauty made our week a true paradise. We have been coming to St. John for years and this Villa is by far a favorite. The outdoor space, is amazing. The pool, outdoor bar, kitchen and plenty of room for cocktails,/ fun gatherings enhanced our vacation. We will be back!!

Perfect!!
La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
We stayed at La Bella Vita July 29-August 5th 2020. This house is amazing! It was perfect for our group of 8. It had everything we needed and then some. The exterior spaces are huge. The pool is refreshing. The fact that it is behind 2 security gates made us feel very safe. The water is drinkable due to the use of a UV filter. AC throughout was great plus fans everywhere. The drive to town was an easy 10 minutes. The huge bathrooms with the outside showers were fun! We will definitely stay here again!
Shawna was more than helpful throughout the planning/ booking process. She answered at least 20 emails concerning questions/information our group had about the villa. Most of these emails were responded to within the same day. On the day of arrival the ports closed so we could not get to St. John. Shawna called me personally to tell me the news and to offer help to find accommodations for the evening. The level of service I received from Shawna is hard to find these days and it was greatly appreciated!!! I hope to work with her again soon!!

Simply Wonderful Views
La Bella Vita Villa, St. John villa review
La Bella Vita was an absolutely wonderful villa for our family of five. The views overlooking St. Thomas are stunning all day and spectacular at night. The house itself was very nice, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and spacious. My only complaints are that the dishwasher was not working, and the lights on the lower patio stairs need to be installed.
We sailed with Poet’s Lounge Sailing Charters to fantastic snorkeling spots, and we highly recommend you do the same! We rented a Jeep from L&L, which was very easy. Andrew from WhereToStay was so accommodating while helping us find La Bella Vita. He was great at keeping in touch and was very easy to work with. Thank You, Andrew!!!
We will be back next year!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful The house was amazing it worked perfectly for the eight of us I love how we each had our own sitting area outside our bedrooms so in the morning you can relax and take in the view. We were able to use the outdoor grill and kitchen area along with the amazing bar. I like that the table was able to seat eight people as well. Oh, and the showers are beautiful and you can’t beat the view. I can’t even think of the suggestion.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at LaBella Vita. The villa is well suited to 4 couples! We had plenty of room & good privacy. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The outdoor space is wonderful & the views are fabulous! Fresh paint & a little extra cleaning would take the villa from nice to exceptional.
Shawna was fabulous to work with! Very attentive & helpful. She went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable!
