If you’re a sun lover, you can relax on one of the cushioned chaises set up by the pool, or if you’re preserving your milk and honey complexion, grab a book and tuck into one of the chairs on the covered patio for an afternoon enjoying the trade winds and fragrances that drift in from the ocean. Get ready for the evening by taking advantage of the alfresco shower. Outdoor bathing is an experience you won’t soon forget. Cap the evening with dining and dancing on the patio while you watch the lights blink on over the island.

Magnificent in every aspect, this villa overlooking Charlotte Amalie’s harbor views is built around the heart of Silk Cotton Villa-the expansive Great Room. This room encompasses individual, well-appointed areas for conversation, formal dining, media, exercise, and a gourmet kitchen. For comfort or privacy, the Great Room can be fully screened or shuttered by an on-demand electronic push button system. It is framed by native stone archways onto the 16- by 45-foot pool and its tiled deck.
Off the Great Room is the kitchen and shady alfresco dining area, hung with fragrant tropical orchids. Savor drinks each evening on your own pool terrace overlooking the ocean, or gather with friends or family around a dinner table in a home that you’ve made your very own for the week.
The kitchen surrounding the large service island is fully equipped with dishwasher, ice makers, and coffee maker.
Just off the Great Room, in the west wing of the villa, is a romantic king bedroom suite (blue bedspread). The next king bedroom suite is located 12 steps directly below and is accessed by a private staircase off the pool deck (striped bedspread).
Located above the Great Room, a spiral staircase leads you to two decorated king bedroom suites featuring twin sofa beds (perfect for children). They are well separated for privacy and each has a balcony.
On the east wing of the villa is the secluded apartment (5th bedroom) located on the upper level features a king size bed with a sitting area with television and dining area on the lower level. There is a queen size pull-out sofa on this level and an adjoining fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is fully air conditioned with its own private deck. The Apartment may be rented only if all 4 bedrooms are also rented.
The stone archways of the Great Room give way to the tiled terrace surrounding the 45- X 16-foot pool. Over 2,300 square feet of sun decks afford a view of the harbor below. Just steps below the pool level out of sight of the main house is a second smaller deck for sunning with a little more privacy.
Wonderfully furnished and fully equipped. Silk Cotton’s seasoned, on-site staff will cater to your every need without compromising your privacy. (No tipping is required. Additional gratuities for staff are at your discretion for exemplary service).

Silk Cotton was the perfect place for a group trip. Very central, yet private, views were amazing. Well stocked, and ready for anything you might want to do on the island. The hosts were gracious and helpful. Even with high expectations, this property blew us away with how amazing it was. Highly recommend for groups or families looking to get away!
Seamless, very knowledgeable, responsive. The site covers a lot of aspects of planning a trip and is well organized.

I really do not know where to start. The house is amazing and Nate & Nicky are fabulous hosts. While we needed nothing, they were ready to assist with our questions. This house brings the beauty of the island right to your living room. You could be in the pool while conversing with someone in the living room or kitchen. We were a large group and all had our own space to spread out. Great location Spectacular views. I cannot say enough about the house or the ease of where to stay.com. Thanks for making beautiful memories

We stayed at Silk Cotton Villa with another couple for a week. We had a wonderful time. The house is stocked with you could possibly want. I could never get tired of that view. Nate & Nikki are such an asset….they made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing vacation.

This is our favorite villa so far on St. Thomas and Where To Stay is my go-to vacation service.
Some of the neighbors could be more considerate with letting their barking dogs out very early in the morning, but that could happen any time you have the privacy of a house instead of a resort.
The house has all the conveniences you need, however the Wi-Fi is not strong enough to work in the second floor bedrooms.
The house is very comfortable and picturesque with world class views and a 10 minute drive to food and beverage stores with some nice restaurants very close by.
Highly recommended.

All I can say is that for me personally, this was the best house yet during our visits to St. Thomas. The house exceeded my expectations. The owner gave us a courtesy call to make sure we were haveing a good time and the caretakers John and Lynn were terrific. You never knew they were there but were available at a moment’s notice. Truly a beautiful house and a wonderful stay. Hope to be back next year.

A group of five couples shared Silk Cotton for nine days. We couldn’t have had a better time.
The views at any time of day were spectacular. The villa was laid out so that we could be with the group or have private time whenever we wanted.
All the rooms offered views over Charlotte Amalie. The bedrooms were all beautifully appointed, and each was unique. The open air design of the house made it fantastic to cook, eat or even watch TV while enjoying the views. At any time of day, at least one person was sitting on the wall just taking in the tranquility and of course the view!
The kitchen was perfect for all of us to help in the cooking, and the outdoor grills were great for the guys. Our hostess, Shirley, could not have been nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed the neighborhood iguanas, and made a ritual of feeding them our leftover fruit.
We definitely needed rental cars, as the only thing within walking distance was a restaurant/bar at the bottom of the hill, that we frequented. It was in a nice upscale development, in which I felt perfectly safe jogging by myself in the evening.
We all hated to leave, and would love to return for another visit.

My husband and I just got married at Silk Cotton Villa July 27, 2009. We brought 8 other guests. We all had the time of our lives! The look on everyone’s faces when they walked into the villa was priceless! Constantly, someone was saying how much they loved the villa and the views! Our wedding photos are a dream-come-true! No one back home can believe that the background was real!!!!! The owners are the PERFECT hosts! They made us feel so special from the very first initiation of contact to our final good-bye at the villa! Hospitality and kindness abound to make our stay and our wedding perfect. Words cannot express how beautiful and fun the Silk Cotton is. I will have the memories of this trip forever etched in my heart!! A must stay place!!!!!! BRAVO

We held our small and intimate wedding ceremony and dinner party here at Silk Cotton. Everything was perfect - from the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we regrettably had to leave.
We spent one week in paradise, and we were very sad to see it come to an end. Our hosts were helpful and gracious in every aspect. They even helped us with an evening BBQ. They went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Our ceremony and party went off beautifully and without a hitch, thanks to the fantastic coordinator and caterer recommended by the owners of Silk Cotton.
The views here were absolutely stunning. What a backdrop for our memorable photos. The rest of Silk Cotton was pretty spectacular, too! Everyone raved about the place. We are still talking about it almost a year later. We wanted for nothing the whole week. Everything was there for us.
We are planning a return trip for our five-year anniversary. Thanks to everyone at Silk Cotton! You must stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Nine of us, including two small children (7 and 8), enjoyed a week at Silk Cotton.
The pool was adjacent to the Great room which made it great for families with children because it was easy to watch them. The villa had a stunning view and was also close to town and all tourist areas.
Only the bedrooms had AC, but the island breezes kept the main living and eating area very comfortable. The onsite staff was most helpful.
Be aware that the tile floors inside and out will be very slippery when wet. It will shower almost every night.
We would go back in a heartbeat.

We were nervous to book, sight-unseen. But we took the leap of faith, based on the online photos and our wedding planner’s “go-ahead”. Silk Cotton Villa was way more beautiful than the photos portrayed!
We fell in love and had the perfect, 60-guest wedding! I couldn’t have wished for better. The villa was incredible, the owners were more than honest, and the staff took care of our every need and whim. Also, the view was beyond amazing.

This was the perfect place to celebrate our 30th anniversary with family.
The property was located in an ideal position overlooking Charlotte Amalie, with a large deck and pool. It was very open and airy. They also had all amenities and more. Early morning and late afternoon was ideal to watch boats, planes, the sunset and just relax.
It was also close enough to town, but high enough to avoid noise. It was easy access to the rest of island, too. I highly recommend it.
