Know Before You Go...®
One of my favorite things about Javacanou is the waterfront access to Marigot Beach. This area is great for snorkeling, and the turtles will swim right next to you! Obviously, there’s great sea views from the pool, which floats just above the bay. This villa would be great for three couples or a family, because all three of the bedrooms are upstairs and all have king-sized beds. Just wait until you see the sunset over the water, and you’ll fall in love with Javacanou.
Beautiful waterfront villa!
Javacanou is a multi-level villa on the far end of Marigot Bay, a protected bay filled with sea life.
Marigot Bay is popular amongst snorkelers and swimmers, because of the calm waters and narrow shoreline. Snorkelers can often find turtles, fish, and the occasional nurse shark on their excursions. Guests can also choose to gaze at the sea from their private infinity pool, or recline in a nearby sun lounger to work on their tan. A private path leads down to a sandy cove right on the water, with space to lounge under the palm trees. A small set of steps leads to the covered living and dining area, and a gazebo at the head of the pool shades a daybed that’s roomy enough to share. Take advantage of the BBQ grill and lawn for a tropical picnic at sunset.
Inside the sliding glass doors, the formal dining room shares space with the living area on the main level. Play a game of chess or watch the latest blockbuster on the flat screen TV in the living room. The dining room looks out at the sea and is conveniently in between the living and cooking areas. Any chef would be pleased with the gourmet kitchen, which features sleek cabinetry, modern appliances, and a spacious prep island. A flight of stairs leads to the upper level of the villa, which holds three king suites. Each bedroom has an Apple TV with U.S. satellite and an ensuite bath. Guests can enjoy ocean views from every bedroom, as each suite has a balcony with glass barriers that creates a floor-to-ceiling vista.
Javacanou Villa is steps away from Marigot Bay, and equidistant from Lorient and Petit Cul de Sac Beach. Upscale casual dining at L’Indigo and the Guanahani Hotel’s Le Bartolomeo are a few minutes away.
