One thing everyone who stays at Akasha mentions is the gorgeous view. It’s absolutely breathtaking! The villa is well-designed for big families because four of the suites are in the main house with private balconies and two are in an apartment with layouts for teens.
Akasha perches in St. Lucia’s northern hills overlooking panoramic ocean views. This ultra-modern villa offers luxury, cutting-edge technology, and an exclusive location in a gated community.
From the moment guests arrive, Akasha’s beauty is obvious. Striking, avant garde design incorporates two curved towers united by an arched entryway. Around the back, the breathtaking design continues with multi-leveled terraces and a wooden observation deck. The curved infinity pool enjoys sweeping views of the sea, the Pitons, Pigeon Island, and Rodney Bay. A sunken gazebo with shaded seating rests at one side of the deck, while a hot tub and loungers rest on the other end. A set of stairs leads up to the expansive veranda furnished with cushioned armchairs and sofas.
Folding glass doors open to Akasha’s sunken living room, which is surrounded by eclectic art pieces, semi-circular leather sofas, and a flatscreen Apple TV. An elegant dining set rests between the living room and kitchen. The kitchen’s open design is emphasized by stainless steel finishes on the appliances, countertops, and cabinetry. There are two ovens, a gas stovetop, and several places to prep meals and dine around the kitchen. Akasha’s master suite is a complete oasis with a private balcony, an Apple TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and a flatscreen TV. The other two king suites also have access to private terraces, Apple TVs, and ensuite bathrooms with soaking tubs and walk-in showers. The fourth suite has two twins that can be made up as a king, a private terrace and an Apple TV, and an ensuite bathroom. In the apartment, there’s a queen suite on both levels with an Apple TV and an ensuite bathroom.
Akasha is perfect for every occasion, from family vacations to destination weddings. Within a few minutes of the villa, guests can reach Cariblue Beach, golf courses, snorkeling, horseback riding, kite surfing, and scuba diving.

Akasha Villa, St. Lucia villa review
Akasha Villa is an absolutely gorgeous home with incredible views of both the Caribbean sunsets and the vibrant city life below. Our family of four stayed there for spring break.
The home offers every modern convenience a home can offer. We enjoyed the stunning views of Pigeon island from any room of the house. Our teenage children particularly enjoyed plugging their IPods into the home’s speaker system and enjoying customized audio throughout the home all week. I enjoyed having coffee on the main terrace overlooking the ocean in one of the home’s many comfortable outdoor living areas each morning. My husband most enjoyed walking down to the beach below the villa
When we did not fancy cooking in Akasha’s vast, stainless steel, fully furnished kitchen, we took a short drive into Rodney Bay and dined at one of the many restaurants located along the strip. After dinner, we took part in the St. Lucian night-life, however, be warned the party might not stop until sunrise.
Akasha’s staff went way above and beyond in making sure our stay was enjoyable and that our every need was met.
If you are looking for a place to unwind, put your mind at ease, and enjoy all the amenities and luxuries Akasha has to offer. What a lovely place to unwind in the evening, with a glass of wine on the back terrace for the adults and a nice library of movies on the flat screens throughout the home for the kids.
The site and the pictures simply don’t show the true beauty of Akasha.
The week at Akasha most definitely lived up to our expectations. We had the most pleasant vacation there we’ve ever had.
I think a lot more families would surely choose to stay in such a beautiful villa as Akasha over any crowded resort if they knew up front that such necessities as food and transportation were so easily arranged.
Our week was truly wonderful and we hope to return someday.
