Bliss Villa is a good choice for 3 or 4 couples looking to share in getting away from it all, or families with either young or older children. It is located in Cap Estate and has a medium-sized pool for those times when you don’t want to make the short 10-minute walk to the beach. Golf, tennis, and water sports facilities are nearby. This is a non-smoking facility with maid, gardener, and pool service Monday through Friday. You can also choose to have your meals fully catered if you wish. Be sure and try snorkeling around St. Lucia… it’s some of the best in the world.
Bliss Villa in Cap Estate, St. Lucia is a five-bedroom getaway for a small group of up to 10 guests.
Situated on a hillside, the views of the Caribbean and St. Lucia are long and wide, and on a clear day you can see the Pitons, St. Lucia’s twin peaks.
The closest beach with great snorkeling areas is only a 10-minute walk away. Rodney Bay, which is a five-minute drive, is great for shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
The villa has a housekeeper who comes in daily and looks after guests’ needs. There is a gardener as well, who also serves as a security guard, who lives in a separate apartment on the grounds.

What a gorgeous view!
Bliss Villa, St. Lucia villa review
I definitely want to return. Don’t even think about not renting a car, though. It’s a real hike from Rodney Bay.

Bliss Villa, St. Lucia villa review
Villa Bliss is nestled ontop a hill in the upper region of Cap Estate. The villa is inviting and warm with comfortable tropical decor with breathtaking views from the balcony. In the vast horizon, you could see the colorful landscape of the island. Even though, it was my third time visiting the island, at Bliss I saw it anew. The ability to unwind and view the beautiful sunsets from the pool was divine. The kitchen was a bit antiqued with a gas stove which needed to be lit. It was easy enough with the right tools. Overall, it was stocked with almost everything. The grocery stores, beaches, restaurants etc are NOT within walking distance from the villa. There are no sidewalks just steep unmarked roads, where the locals have mastered the narrow terrain. You will NEED a car or a reliable taxi to get to your destinations. Taxis are like $5 USD ONE way to Rodney Bay or Marina for supplies and activities. Unfortunately, the manager and staff left much to be desired. The staff was cordial and helpful but tense and on guard after our family visited us. The housekeeper was there daily to keep an eye on the property or us. The groundskeeper’s home is within “10 steps” of the villa which allowed him to monitor the coming and going of our visitors. The villa has a strict policy on visitors and overnight guest . It appeared they prefer no visitors in fear of property being damaged. Nevertheless, it was a good stay.
It was a bit challenging trying to replan a trip during a global pandemic. It would have been easier to cancel but that was unfortunately not possible since the villa owner was refusing to give refunds only rollover reservations. Despite it all, Andrew was open and honest about the situation and persevering through all hurdles. Andrew was always reachable by phone or email and keep the lines of communication open.
