Caribbean vacations offer much more than you might imagine, especially if you have never heard about the wonderful accommodation options. One is the beautiful Hummingbird Villa of St. Lucia. This villa offers more than you might even think possible in a house, with views of Rodney Bay and the Caribbean Sea, and a comfortable yet elegant interior which will allow you to relax and refresh yourself, while being pampered in the best style. The open floor plan offers more in sitting and dining than most other houses do. There is a housekeeper and a gardener who care for the property.
Hummingbird Villa is a Caribbean-style three-bedroom, three-bath accommodation that was renovated and refurbished in 1999. The villa enjoys a hillside site with views of the Caribbean Sea and Rodney Bay, as well as breezes from the Atlantic Ocean.
There is an open-plan kitchen, sitting/dining area. The kitchen has louvered shutters opening to a view. The living/dining area, with two ceiling fans, has louvered doors leading onto a series of patios, all of which are built of natural wood and designed around an unusual tree, giving the feeling of a “treehouse” and helping create a relaxing atmosphere. The “treehouse” patio has a bridge that leads to the swimming pool and a waterfall.
There are two double bedrooms on the main living level. Bedroom 1 has two single beds that can be made into a king-size bed. Louvered windows look out towards the treehouse, there is a shower room off this bedroom.
Bedroom 2 has a four-poster queen-size bed with an ensuite shower room. This bedroom has a door that leads to the swimming pool and waterfall.
The double master bedroom is at an elevated level. It has a queen-size four-poster bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower. There is also a private patio off the bedroom with a view all its own. All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and mosquito nets.
