The pool, dock, and gardens will keep guests entertained while you sunbathe on the terrace, and if you want a day out you can reach the island’s restaurants, shops, and water sports in minutes.

Mapai is a high-end ocean oasis within the Terrasse de Cul de Sac neighborhood. This fully air-conditioned villa overlooks Pinel Island and the cove around Cul de Sac.
Hop in one of the villa’s kayaks and reach Pinel Island within minutes. The villa offers contemporary furnishing, a large wooden deck, and a heated infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The large covered terrace with a daybed, loungers, and a pool spans the length of the villa. The large garden and private dock add excitement. Sleek furnishings in white, red, and teak wood define the interior living area and connect to the adjoining kitchen’s breakfast bar, sleek appliances, and wraparound countertops. Each of the six bedrooms has a Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. One of the bedrooms includes two bunk beds for children. Five of the bedrooms are accessible from within the main house, while the sixth bedroom is located below the villa and accessible from the yard. Aside from the children’s suite, each of the bedrooms offers a king bed. A housekeeper, gardener, and poolman staff the villa.
Mapai is close to everything in Cul de Sac, as well as grocery stores in Hope Estate, fine dining in Grand Case, and beach restaurants in Orient Bay. Mapai is a swim or kayak ride away from Pinel Island, known for its fresh lobster.

Stunning
Mapai, St. Martin villa review
We were a group of 11 on the island to celebrate an 80th birthday. While getting to the island during a COVID surge was quite challenging, Villa Mapai was stunning. My 20 year old son said,“Dad, usually the places are less impressive than the pictures. Not in this case. The pictures don’t do this villa justice.” It is very updated and convenient to Orient or Grand Case or just sitting and staring at the view. The kayaks are a nice touch and the green space to work out or lounge around is really unique. Thibaud was our concierge and he was simply outstanding. Very responsive and he helped us track down some medicine that was forgotten. We used Chef Alex for 2 nights. He and Tessa live a house or two away. C’est Magnifique! Alex, Tessa and Thibaud were just genuinely lovely people who were there to help. Our week went by too fast…but,it was truly memorable. We cannot recommend Villa Mapai and it’s incredible staff enough. Our family has been discussing if we make this an annual excursion. I hope so.
Shawna and her team were very helpful as well. They helped us provision for our arrival, make reservations for restaurants and a private chef and coordinate to have rental cars at the villa when we arrived. Everyone was very responsive and quickly answered questions we had while we were in St. Martin. All in all this was a great experience from start to finish.
