Carisa Villa rests mere steps from the sea on Baie Rouge Beach in the exclusive Terres Basses region. This region is known for its million-dollar estates, rolling hills, and stunning ocean views.
The semicircular infinity pool overlooks the beach and sea, while loungers surround the bordering terrace. Oversized umbrellas provide optional shade. In the evenings, end the day with a dip in the villa’s jacuzzi, or a moonlit stroll along the sand. A hammock swings between two pillars beneath the veranda, where guests can dine al fresco or relax in the open-air lounge. The veranda’s bar connects to the interior cooking space, so guests can easily enjoy cocktails and appetizers fresh from the kitchen. Carisa Villa also has a THX audio system that runs throughout the property, so every moment can have the perfect soundtrack.
Inside the fully air-conditioned villa, there is an open living room with a generously sized sectional and armchair, a dining space with panoramic views, and a massive kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, a TV, and ample cookware. Carisa also has a full media room with a 60-inch Plasma TV and a theater-worthy sound system. Both king suites enjoy incredible master baths with walk-in showers, triple shower heads, and ocean views. The suites each have a pop-up Plasma TV, DVD player, and remote-controlled roman shades on the windows.
Carisa Villa enjoys easy access to Baie Longue and Baie aux Prunes, which are both secluded beaches with public parking. Marigot can be reached in 10 minutes by car, and the airport is only 15 minutes away.

The place is awesome. Great location, very clean with excellent support locally. There really was nothing to complain about. I do want to explain a few tech issues just so they are clear and the property owners might be able to improve.These are just for your information. We were completely satisfied.
The system used for sound with outside speakers was not useful. The tablet was searching for connectivity most of the time. The choices for types of music was really limited and tough to navigate. When playing music it would stream OK because the music would buffer fast enough to keep the audio going but you lose control of the speakers. I tried loading Pandora but you have a password required for adding any apps to the IPad (I fully understand and would not recommend any changes). I recommend allowing the customer a plug in to just play music from a device they bring - ipod or any 1/8” cable plug in device - much simpler.
The Satellite TV had one issue and I think it was because of the universal remote. When changing channels It would not run past the interactive Weather Channel. It’s like that channel required some feedback that the alternative remote would not accomplish.A technician came out and fixed it. Not a big problem but it could recur.
Mosquitos were a little tough. Also seemed like the hot water for showers was intermittent but not too bad. The DVDs have issues with scratches - some won’t play to the end.
These are all very minor. We really enjoyed our stay!!
