One word for the location, view, and villa – AMAZING. The pictures don’t show how spectacular it is. Our concierge, Marius, arranged for transfers, was on-site when we arrived to go through the villa in detail, and was available 24/7. He had great restaurant suggestions and was invaluable. The pictures of the villa are very accurate - updated and clean. The Terres Basses part of the island is very exclusive and the only way in and out is through a guarded gate where they take security seriously. With a steel gate and fences around the villa, safety was never a concern. It’s not very close to much in the way of restaurants and attractions and it takes a while to get anywhere. We rented a car (right side driving on the entire island) and it wasn’t a problem because it allowed us to explore. However, a car is a must. We had only one consistent complaint/issue. The electric service on the island is very unreliable. It went out every day/night for the first 4 days. Most villas have generators. Unfortunately, didn’t work at first and is wired very poorly. It didn’t power 3 of the 4 bedrooms and, even when on, there was no water. Marius was great at getting maintenance out each time to make sure the generator was running and, once power was back on, that the water was running. However, for the rental amount, I would expect the generator to power the entire villa and keep the water running. The owner must upgrade the service. Other than that, what an amazing stay!

Excellent - Jean was very communicative and helpful. Everything from groceries to car to what do to was spelled out and worked out perfectly. Would absolutely work with Jean and WhereToStay.com again.
