We have rented this villa 2 years in a row and the view and snorkeling are amazing. We have had some issues with the house and have been treated very well by the management team. It is a great spot to relax and unwind as well as being close to everything!
Shawna is a rockstar and has always been nothing but professional and accommodating. We have booked this villa, Beach Kandi 2 years in a row with Shawna and she has taken care of any detail we have found needed reporting.

I found working with Shawna at Where to Stay a pleasure and would book with her again. The villas had the perfect set up for us. The reef for snorkeling, the option to heat the pool, proximity to town, and the perfect view to wake up to everyday!! We had a few suggestions to improve our future stay at Beach Kandi and Shawna passed our list onto the concierge and followed up with positive results! It was a perfect place to be to celebrate my husbands birthday with dear friends. Gorgeous!!!

40th Anniversary Celebration

As soon as I clicked on the Beach Kandi picture previews I knew this was going to be the perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We had never been to the island before so all of this was new to us but Andrew immediately made me feel comfortable and was eager to help in anyway he could to make this trip special.
As soon as we entered the villa we realized it was even more elegant than the photos on the web site. Everything was well maintained and the size and detail of all the imported wood tables and benches was impressive. Snorkeling on the reef right outside our doorway and the sunsets from our lounge chairs was amazing as well.
I never felt like I was working with Andrew. It felt from the very first conversation that I was catching up with an old friend who had tons of information and was as happy as can be to share it.
Could not ask for better! We will be back for sure!!!

Look No Further, Beach Kandi is The Place to Be!

Beach Kandi is the perfect place to be for four guests. The villa is top-notch, and everything you need is there like a Viking Stove, GE Appliances, a VitaMix Blender, LG washer and dryer, furniture from Bali, a Yeti Cooler, and a beautiful infinity pool. The air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.
From anywhere inside the villa, the view is breathtaking. The only issue was that the mattress/bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife. Both us and the other couple found the mattress very hard and firm, which was surprising. If you don’t mind a firm bed, then it won’t be an issue. This villa is worth the money.
There was a little issue with ants, but bug spray was provided. As long as you’re taking out your garbage daily and not leaving anything on the counters, you should be good in that area. At night, the flood/sensor lights come on automatically, so there isn’t total darkness in the back. Plus, security is constantly driving up and down Coconut Road, so there are never any issues.
I can brag forever, but do yourself a favor and just call Andrew. You won’t be disappointed in Beach Kandi or anything else he has to offer. Andrew was more than a pleasure to work with, there are no words to explain. This was my very first time booking a trip through a website where everything was done via email, and Andrew was always available for me. With everyone’s busy schedule, email is the way to go in this day and age. While I was on my trip, I emailed Andrew and asked him what I need to do to start planning my next vacation. Amazing Home Right on the Reef

We stayed at Beach Kandi and loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed and was just beautiful! The reef is right outside the door and filled with beautiful fish, reef sharks, eagle rays, and turtles. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

A Slice of Heaven
Beach Kandi, Turks and Caicos villa review
If you can imagine, Beach Kandi is even more spectacular than the pictures you see here. We had a marvelous, magical stay - we rarely left the house because there was no need. Everything you would want for an exquisite getaway is at your doorstep. We swam in the pool and snorkeled every day. Without swimming terribly far out, we saw incredible sea life - turtles, spotted eagle rays, and countless types of fish with colors beyond gorgeous. We enjoyed the understated elegance of the house - if you go, do not miss the chance to soak in one of those amazing bathtubs while gazing at the sea. The staff were responsive and kind, truly special people. If for any reason you’re on the fence about whether or not to rent this magnificent home, I would suggest you get off the fence and just book it. You will not regret it.

Exceeded Expectations!

Beach Kandi exceeded our expectations! Everything, from the beachfront location, Infiniti-edge pool, high-end decor, and amenities, were top notch. My wife and I felt like we had are own private beach. We also thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling at Smith reef in the clear warm water.
Sharon provided world-class service. She answered all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants. We look forward to scheduling our next trip with her.

Beach Kandi, Turks and Caicos villa review
When we booked Beach Kandi, the pictures and the write-up lead us to believe this villa was first class in every way. The cost was above our budget, but we decided to go the extra, believing it was a step above. During our two week stay, we found several things supporting that proper maintenance of a villa this calibre had not been happening. For the cost we paid, there shouldn’t have been interior walls blistering/bubbling from moisture, bedroom AC thermostat not working correctly, exterior furniture really worn and weathered, which we did bring to the property managers attention and they did bring different used furniture over, but for four adults it was rather tight and uncomfortable being a small couch and one chair. Also, the heated drying cycle on the dishwasher didn’t work, one burner on the range top didn’t work and another wouldn’t stop clicking when lit, from the ignighter being faulty. One night, about half way through our stay there was a pretty good wind storm that blew a lot of sand onto the patio and debris into the pool. Usually with supposed luxury villa rentals, this would have been cleaned up for the remainder of our stay, but it was just left that way for us with almost a full week to go. This villa however, is situated in a beautiful location with some fantastic snorkeling just a short swim directly off the shore. Beach Kandi certainly has the potential to look and feel as beautiful as the pics portray, but for us, it was disappointing!
Andrew was a pleasure to work with and was always prompt in all communication throughout the process.
VILLA MANAGERS RESPONSE
We are sorry these guests felt the property fell short of their expectations. Beach Kandi is a lovely property and normally receives rave reviews from guests (see other reviews posted below).
Here are the specific responses to the clients issues -
Furniture - We are very sorry about this. The villa was awaiting a new shipment of outdoor furniture. We did our very best to temporarily rectify that situation with replacements. The furniture has now arrived.
AC Thermostat - Although we are ready 24/7 to assist and attend to problems, this problem was not mentioned during the stay - only after departure - otherwise we certainly would have checked this. We have since tested the thermostat and found the unit operating perfectly.
Dishwasher - No problems have been found with the dishwasher. This was not mentioned during clients stay.
Stove burners - Again not mentioned during stay and post departure we found everything to be working properly.
Umbrella in pool after storm - As this is a private home there is no pool attendant. Sorry about the unexpected wind which blew down the umbrellas into the pool. We attended to this the following morning and the following day the pool was again vacuumed. I also personally called round to the house to check everything but found no one at home.
Interior walls - Unfortunately, the humidity of the tropics does occasionally result in blistering drywall, and regular attention and correction is made to this in the course of the year.
We do try hard to make everything perfect for guests, but unforeseen weather, user errors, and unreported perceived problems, are not within our power to rectify, especially if guests prefer to be silent until they leave and write a negative review which helps no one.
