Sugar Kube, Turks and Caicos villa review

Wonderfully simple design that delivers privacy, comfort, and light in an unassuming package. Although the hard floors beckon you to wear slippers of any sort, the amenities within the villa and on the pool deck are perfect, including the multiple-sized snorkeling sets and beach gear. The brand new and totally clean BBQ grill is outstanding!

In all, a perfect little ‘Sugar Kube’ for a quiet respite!

Sugar Kube, Turks and Caicos villa review

Sugar Kube was a smooth drive from the airport, and everything on the island was a quick, easy drive. Candela met me at the villa with frozen drinks. She made great suggestions and was quiet attentive throughout the week and checked in often via WhatsApp. Departure was no different. She stopped by and thanked me for staying with a beautiful Turks and Caicos book as a gift.

The villa itself was so comfortable, unbelievably relaxing and lacked nothing! The privacy was priceless, and the rooftop deck was the icing on the cake! I thoroughly enjoyed the pool as it was the perfect size and temp - the changing lights at night totally enhanced the ambiance. Sugar Kube’s open, airy floor plan lended itself perfectly to having @floatingfeasttci prepare the floating brunch and Phenomenal Mobile Spa to perform a heavenly scrub and massage on my birthday. Carmen was so sweet and gracious and swiftly handled any cleaning requests.

Graceway IGA and Gourmet are easily accessible with a huge selection of options. The grilled lobster tails at Graceway Gourmet are THE BEST!

Sugar Kube solidified my traveling niche - VILLAS! After staying here, I cannot fathom ever staying at a large resort again! You will NOT be disappointed with Andrew, WTS, or Sugar Kube! Turks & Caicos and Sugar Kube owe me NOTHING!!!

Andrew was responsive from my very first inquiry. The WTS website is very informative. Between Andrew and the website, I was able to seamlessly plan my week in paradise. He answered questions and assisted as I began searching for my 2024 villa stay.

Sugar Kube, Turks and Caicos villa review

The Villa is beautiful, located on quiet stretch of Grace Bay Beach. The path that leads you quickly to the beach is easy. The interior of Sugar Kube is just as pretty as the photos. We enjoyed many sunsets from the top patio and star gazing from the balcony off the bedroom .The pool area felt very private and the palm trees swaying in the breeze was relaxing. Sugar Kube is well maintained. The Concierge and the whole staff looking after the villa are amazing and always available to help. Remember drive on the left and have a fantastic time .

Working with Andrew at Where To Stay was quite a joy.The assistance he gave with the car rental to the diving recommendation were great. He was always quick with a response to any questions we had. The coordination with Candela on the Island was seamless. I would highly recommend and trust Where To Stay .

Sugar Kube, Turks and Caicos villa review

The villa was as beautiful as its pictures. We appreciated the minimalist approach and airy look throughout the villa The modern appliances were very nice to use and everything worked well. It would have been nice to have a direct view of the beach, but we knew that such a view would only be possible from the roof (which did provide a wonderful panorama of Turtle Cove). The location of the villa gave one a peaceful place to retreat to after a day on Grace Bay beach. It was nice to be on the best snorkeling part of the beach, (although the windy weather kept us from enjoying this as much as we would have liked). All in all, it was a wonderful place for our anniversary and appreciate Andrew pointing it out for us.

Andrew was very diligent and forthcoming with information about the island, possible excursions and restaurant choices. He was a pleasure to work with!

Sugar Kube, Turks and Caicos villa review

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos. We asked for a recommendation from Andrew and he selected the perfect place for my wife and I to spend our anniversary. The villa is very modern and designed to incorporate the beauty outside with the open design of the villa. It’s a short walk to the beach and in a quiet part of the island giving a sense of privacy and security. Restaurants, marina and a casino are within easy walking distance. Especially nice was the view of the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop patio. Somehow, mimosas in the morning taste best from there.

The villa was fully furnished with all modern conveniences. The deck by the pool was the perfect lounging area and the evening breezes provided an ideal sleeping environment. We highly recommend this for couples looking for a romantic setting.

Andrew and everyone with WhereToStay.com were extremely helpful both in the selection of an appropriate villa and in making suggestions from restaurants to entertainment to services. Andrew and WhereToStay.com was our guidebook to the island. We were met at the rental car agency and Marjorie took us directly to our villa and made sure everything was perfect before she left. The cleaning staff midweek did an excellent job and freshened up the villa nicely.
