Awesome villa
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
The villa is very spacious. There were 13 people in our party, eight adults and five children, 17 to 11. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved the outdoor long table to have meals together.
The pool was very clean and provided much fun for kids and adults. It was great to have pool/beach towels provided for everyone.
This is more a snorkeling beach rather than a sandy beach, which we knew before we got there. The water is amazing, you don’t have to go far to see many fish of different colors and sizes.
The AC pricing is not as scary in the island as we were led to believe by some posts in social media, of course we were very careful not to use it unnecessarily.
One correction to description of laundry appliances, there are 5 dryers and 2 washers and NOT 4 washers and 3 dryers. Just an FYI.
It was excellent. He was always available to give us information and answer our questions in a kind and patient manner.
We highly recommend Andrew to anyone that needs help finding a place to stay.

Family vacation
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
We had one of the best vacation at Tamarind Villa! The house is beautiful with amazing views. The beach is serene.. It was wonderful see the the sunrise and the sunset from either your balcony or the beach. The house is well stocked to accommodate large groups with small children. It had a crib, playpen , hight chair and play area . The house was stocked with board games, snorkeling gear, pool floats , beach towels and water shoes . The booking process was easy and the recommendations made by Andrew, helped enhance our stay. Everyone in our party was sad to leave.
Andrew was excellent to work with always available. I would definitely book again with WhereToStay.com.

Go To Snorkel!!
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
This was my third stay on the island, and Tamarind made for another great visit. The Villa itself was roomy, comfortable, and well appointed. All rooms had their own bath, with two additional baths on the main floor. Every room had a king bed (two of the rooms had 2 kings), and most of the rooms were extremely roomy. You won’t feel cramped here!
The pool was large, and offered nice shade from the late afternoon sun (a must when you are in Turks). There were lots of pool toys, snorkel gear, water shoes, flotation belts, etc. We brought our own gear, which I would still advise as you want to have a quality dive mask.
The beach was bit different than other beaches. There are a lot of rocks, and few areas with sandy bottoms. So it isn’t the best ‘playtime’ waterfront. But the access to Smith’s Reef makes up for that! I was not a snorkeler before this trip, but I spent the majority of this trip at the Reef. We saw everything imaginable; Turtles, Sharks, Rays, Barracuda, and hundreds of beautiful fish. If you don’t snorkel, then you are missing the main attraction. Seriously! I was also very surprised at how secluded this stretch of beach was. I expected more people to be crowding to the beach and reef. This was a very unexpected bonus. Ample lounge decks were also great.
Restaurants at the marina were close. Mango Reef, Sharkbites, Baci were all good, and just a short walk. Also an easy drive to Graceway IGA. The location was ideal. Loved Turtle Cove!
Andrew answered my questions promptly, thoroughly and directly. He was a good liaison. Also had a very nice (and long) conversation with Sharon a couple of days before our trip. It was nice to be able to have her answer all of my last minute questions over the phone.

The perfect villa in the perfect location!
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
The Tamarind villa is perfectly located- 10/15 minutes to the airport and 10/15 minutes to the shops/town. It is private and located on Smith’s Reef where we saw turtles and plenty of fish. The villa has everything you can think of- an amazing kitchen with all the tools/appliances needed, board games, snorkeling equipment including water shoes and tubes for the pool. Gorgeous flowers and four amazing sun decks to tan or watch the sunrise or senate. The views from all three floors of the house are spectacular. Tamarind is a very special place.
Andrew was extremely responsive and helpful! Our trip with 15 family members was originally booked last July 2020 and Andrew was great through it all. I highly recommend Andrew and WhereToStay.com

Fabulous!
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Fabulous vacation with family and friends…14 in all. There was plenty of room! The villa was beautiful, clean and well stocked(kitchen, starter paper products and soaps, 2 washers/4dryers, sunscreen/bug spray and 4 snorkel sets for nearby reef). Highly recommend a rental car. Easy 10 /15 minute drive to most things. Our crew loved relaxing on the four decks in between the pool and the beach. Highly recommend!
Fantastic! Andrew is very helpful and quick responding to emails. We found his recommendations spot on. He guided us through the COVID requirements for T & C. Made sure we knew what we needed and on the timing.

Amazing Stay
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Tamarind Villa is a beautiful home on the most peaceful stretch of beach. There’s a gorgeous reef right in front of the villa for snorkeling. The layout of the home is beautiful, and there are 6 bedrooms all with their own bathroom. There were lots of washers and dryers for laundry, and overall it was a great space for enjoying our vacation. There is a wonderful grill for dinners at home. This is a perfect home for families or several couples traveling together.
Booking through WhereToStay was a great experience.

Fantastic Stay - Party of 12
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
We recently stayed at Tamarind for a week with a party of 12. The house is set up wonderfully for a group of this size. The bedrooms are all very large, and the 2nd and 3rd floor suites all have balconies with terrific views of Grace Bay. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed. The house is in great shape and everything worked just fine.
This location is especially good if you have kids joining you. The beach in front is a bit rocky, but the reef right in front of the house offers some of the best snorkeling near the coast. We had several teenagers in our group, and they were all very entertained by the reef. The beach is also very quiet. There were many times when we couldn’t see another person in sight. The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous, and there is an almost constant breeze.
Rhonda, the house manager, was also very accommodating and always available. Rose, the housekeeper, was super sweet and did a great job.
I would highly recommend this villa and would definitely rent it again.
Shawna was great to work with and covered every detail of our stay.

Everything and More..
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
We spent a week with our family of 6 at this beautiful villa, and we can say the pictures do not do it justice. It is so much more than what is depicted. It’s located on the ocean, with snorkeling directly in front of the villa and a swimmable beach just a few yards away. It also has incredibly spacious bedrooms. The exterior is amazing, thanks to the large pool and plenty of places to hide away and enjoy the day. The deck is the perfect place to spend the afternoon and watch the world go by. We will return…
Andrew was available months in advance to answer all our questions, and he gave us suggestions for activities, dining, and general navigation around the island.

Beautiful!
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Our family had a wonderful stay and we really enjoyed Tamarind Villa! The views are unbelievable, particularly if you are lucky enough to snag a room on the top floor! The rooms are all large and have their own bathroom, which is really nice. Being this close to the beach was a huge plus, we could snorkel everyday at the beautiful reef just a few hundred feet down the beach. No complaints from any of our family, it was truly a great time in a beautiful home. We hope we can come back and visit soon!

Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Thank you so much. Our family had a great time. No one wanted to leave.
The rooms were all beautiful and spacious. We treated it like it was our own. The view was wonderful, too.
Our stay could not have been better. Even the housekeeper was great! Thanks again for letting us enjoy your home.

Wonderful, but....
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
A very nice villa, appointed thoroughly, both inside and out for a very easy stay. The best feature is it’s location - close to amenities, walking distance to some Turtle Cove restaurants, and great snorkeling right in front of the house. A close drive to the Grace Bay attractions, and just enough removed to be out of the tourist frenzy.
I felt misled about the level of noise that we would encounter from the construction next door. They were not finishing up some interior work on a renovation, as Andrew described. They were actually in the early stages of building a new villa under the roofline of the old one, with concrete trucks, impact hammers, and grinders filling the air with very loud noise from 6:30am to 6:30 pm every day. Although I agreed to the partial refund, had I been given an accurate description of what was going on next door, I might have changed my plans.

Honestly if there were decimals 4.8
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Tamarind Villa is the most amazing house. Every detail in this home is well thought out and perfectly executed. The bedrooms are absolutely gorgeous and huge! The kitchen has everything you could need and more. We were all impressed with how well stocked it was. We also had a private chef come in (Chef Jonathan Krespil), if you have this opportunity during your stay I highly recommend him. HIs food was amazing! We traveled as 4 couples and we all had ample space to relax and enjoy. The owners had a full sanitizing station at the front door, and the house was immaculate from top to bottom. The beach is amazing out the back door with Smith’s Reef in your yard it makes for the best snorkeling. Just a short walk (3 houses) there is a clear walk in beach if you don’t want to go over the reef to get into the water. We actually did it both ways and it was easy either choice. Definitely bring water shoes and enjoy the snorkeling villa even provides snorkeling gear! Its a true highlight.
The reason for my 4.8 stars is only because the pool was not heated and it was shaded by the home during our stay November December. Now with the beach being right there it’s not horrible we just as a group enjoy night swimming and we were unable to do that. The house caretaker informed us a heater is in the future of the home and when that happens there is no other rating to give than a 5++++!! We highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed.
Andrew is top notch! We loved working with him, he was honest and worked with us through a few issues within planning our trip. He is available to talk to you when you need him and is quick to respond to all correspondence. He doesn’t just stop at helping you find a villa, he is there to recommend tons of services for your stay. We would definitely use Wheretostay.com especially Andrew for our next trip without hesitation.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Tamarind Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
On the positive, the accommodation was excellent. It was spacious and well furnished, and extremely well equiped. Also, as has been said before, the maid was lovely. The position of the villa was excellent for restaurants and other activities.
On the negative, the ground floor view of the ocean was limited, and the view of the beach was non-existent due to intervening shrubbery. The beach was rocky and steep at this end of Grace Bay (Turtle Cove).
Also, the pool, being close to the house, was in the shade from about noon onwards. You also need to like beige (to my eye, it seemed that the external villa walls were just natural cement in color, rather than having ever been painted).
Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great base from which to enjoy the excellence of the island - swimming, sun-bathing and playing on Grace Bay.
